And it happened to have a picture of Minako on it. In the rather clear image, she looked like she was about to happily charge forward, with the light haloing around her to spots on her, like her hair and eyes, to 'glint'. With the inclusion of how her clothing seemed ready to bounce as she moved, it was actually a rather flattering image of her.
Not that he could particularly see what it would do, though it certainly was tied to her, if in appearance only. "Well, it certainly makes her look real good...."
"You really think so?" the blonde asked.
"Ummm... yeah."
"I'm so glad that you think so!"
"Ya are?"
"Absolutely!" Minako chirped, and threw her arms around him as she snuggled happily against his side. "Knowing that you like me is wonderful to hear!"
"Uhhh...."
"Getting back to the point, that is what we call a 'pactio card'," Ami said with a sigh for her comrade's antics.
"'Pak tee oh'?"
"Sort of like a contract, or a promise card. Only more binding. With it, you can communicate with her, and give her the chance to use more of her magic than what she will normally be able to do."
"Okay. Then where's yours?"
The blue haired fae girl blushed slightly. "What? What do you mean?"
"She's got one, right? Then where's yours?"
"Actually... I don't have one yet. Until I do, I will only be here for a set time, and then snap back to where we came from. But there is a way for me to stay...."
"Which I'm sure that she will like a whole lot," Minako murmured, half in disappointed possessiveness, and half in amused pride.
That set the other girl's face flaming with a deep blush as she looked down towards her feet and fidgeted nervously.
"Guess it's a big deal," Ranma innocently commented, cocking his head thoughtfully to the side, while:
