Nabiki's analogue snorted. "'Great' or not, you got me into this mess, and it is your resonsibility to ge me out of it."
"Grr... Fine. Come on," Akane told her.
"Good choice."
"Whatever. Just move faster already!"
Staring out a view screen on the Blue Thunder, Majr Kuros watched as the asteroid was relentlessly pounded by the forces against it. Soon, his objective would finally be met and he'd finally have Akane 'Tenso' right where he wanted her. She'd find that she could not escape him. She might gather friends and allies to protect herself, but they'd fall before he took what was his.
Flexing his artifical hand, he was sure that he would have his vengance on Akane and those with her, including the Jedi who'd rescued her...
"What took you so long?" asked Xiang icily as Akane brought the Red Streak into lift off. "We were ready to take off without you."
"Seems that the 'Spider' is delicate," replied the Corellian irritably, "She held me up."
"Well, those guys outside might like you to stick around for a while, but I don't think that would be a good idea!"
"So do I."
"Where are you taking us?"
"Through the asteroid belt."
"What?"
"It should keep them busy for a while until we can figure out how to lose them."
"And you have an idea?"
