"What is going on here, Evil-Lynn!?" Skeletor appeared behind the mistress of dark magic. "There've been energy spikes throughout the mountain and you've been nowhere to be found!"
She had to think fast...
"There he is! Fan-out and cover the entrances!" Duncan's voice rang up from the ground-level entrance to the VOID chamber. Evil-Lynn breathed a sigh of relief, with those fools running around Skeletor wouldn't have time to interrogate her. "Mekanek! Help me with the boy!"
"Those cursed Masters..." Skeletor's eyes burned before he shoved his subordinate out of the way and jumped down to do battle. "Duncan my old friend! How lovely of you to come!" He spun his dual sword and took an offensive stance.
"Keldor, stand down!" Randor appeared behind his younger brother, claymore held tightly in his gauntlets. "Our quarrel is not with you!"
Skeletor blasted Duncan before the Man-At-Arms had a chance to transform his armored hand into a gun and turned to Randor. His Havok Staff flew away to Evil-Lynn's hand before the lord of Snake Mountain separated his sword and twirled them both. "I beg to differ, Randor, for my quarrel has always been with you!"
---
Ranma managed a blow to his opponent's face when a slight overextension lent itself to a backhand. No sooner had he done so, however, than his opponent managed the same. The fight was going nowhere since whatever he started doing, the fusion was already preparing to block or counter.
He crouched low and swept his opponents feet, leading the blue-skinned man to a handspring backflip that brought his ten feet away. The two looked at one another for a moment.
"I've got him!" Mekanek suddenly pounced on Faker, wrapping his arms around his neck from behind. Faker's eyes glowed briefly before the Master flew into the VOID's protective shield. "AHHHHHHH!"
Ranma used a burst of ki to propel him to the enemy as Mekanek slowly slid off the defense screen. Unfortunately, Faker had foreseen the movement.
The martial artist ended up with Faker's hand around his throat. He was lifted a foot off the ground. "Tsk, tsk, it isn't nice to sneak up on people."
"...fuck you..."
"Such language! You need your mouth washed out with soap, young man, or better yet - how about your soul?" Faker extended a hand to one of the arching cobra heads and purple energy hit a recessed circular area.
Suddenly the whole chamber became bathed in eldritch light. Skeletor paused his clash with Randor and saw the protective shield over the VOID portal recede. Duncan and the other Masters stopped and watched as the light abruptly turned purple. Evil-Lynn leaped down from her vantage point and began approaching Faker.
"Evil-Lynn! What are you doing?!" Skeletor bashed Randor's face with an armored gauntlet and dashed towards his second-in-command.
"Get the boy, Masters! I'll help the King!" Duncan sprinted to his fallen ruler while Sy-Clone, Stratos, and Buzz-Off flew across the room.
Faker erected a force bubble just as the Masters reached him. The trio hit the magic wall hard and fell to the floor unconscious.
"Have fun on the other side, 'father'." Faker's eyes glowed purple before he let go of Ranma's throat, dropping him into the VOID.
Suddenly, Beast-Man and his One-Eyed T'Wowser Snake burst through a stone wall with such force that the Evil Master of Beasts couldn't stop the creature from hurtling headfirst into the chasm.
Evil-Lynn turned around just in time to see a circular mouth of sharp fangs before the monstrosity bore down on her, knocking them both into the glowing portal. A faint black shape, nothing more than a shadow, really, followed the two into the bright hot light.
Faker quickly shut the portal and ducked behind a cobra arch while the rest of the crowd in the chamber were disoriented, and transformed into Evil-Lynn. Bleeding wounds appeared across 'her' body before she pretended to collapse from behind the obstruction. A pity about poor Evil-Lynn, but this might actually work to his advantage...
