“Ash!?” a familiar pair of voices called out. “Why didn’t you take the bus?”
Ranma turned around to witness Misty in the process of splitting apart as she stepped off said vehicle. ‘Doh! I usually take the bus, of course,’ he thought. “Uh… I was late so I… never mind that. So where is our class being held.”
“Ahhaha! We have no idea,” the left Misty announced.
“We were kind of hoping someone would show us the way,” the right Misty added.
“It’s in the gymnasium of course,” Brock explained as he stepped off the bus. His little red reptile formed in his crossed arms and hissed. “Let’s hurry so we get sorted into good teams.”
“Oh! Is that your spirit beast?” the Misties exclaimed as they rushed up for a look. “What’s its element?” They suddenly backed away as the critter’s club tail swung up in front.
“Yeah,” Brock said uncertainly as he blinked back and forth at the twins. “Uhm, her name is Scarlet, and it’s hammer.”
“Hammer?” Ranma exclaimed. “What kind of element is ’hammer’?”
“Well, it’s impact magic actually,” Brock said defensively. “And it’s conceptual not… anyway that’s not important now. Which one is the real Misty?”
“She is,” they pointed at each other. “You can tell she’s the clone. I’m the pretty one!”
“Misty, you idiot(s). I thought you had sorted that out!” Ranma accused.
The girls giggled in stereo.
Brock rolled his eyes. “What ever! Anyway, thanks so much for waiting, you jerks.”
“Ahehehe! Sorry about that,” the left Misty apologised.
“We kind of forgot in all the confusion,” the right Misty blushed.
“Anyway, can you show us the way?” They batted their eyelashes at him coyly.
“How can you not know where the gym is?” Brock demanded. “It’s the big building. You can’t miss it.”
