Ranma in Ash (Hypre Active): Double Trouble [Episode 203170]

by Greyman

“Halt!  Stop.  You’re in trouble.”

“Hey!  Who is that girl’s double?”

“Who the heck are you?” Ranma wondered.  There was something odd about the pair, or maybe just oddly familiar.

“I am upperclassman Jessie!” the girl answered,  “the Red–haired Wonder!”

“Upperclassman James,” the blue headed boy added, “known as the Black Knight.”

“We are the rising stars of magical arts!”

“And we’ll be teaching your special class.”

“We’re the best teachers in the nation.”

“So pay attention to our information.”

“That’s right!  Now, why are you three late?”

“Late!?” Brock demanded.  “But I got up early and I normally get here on time.”

“Eh, I ran to school today,” Ranma apologised.  “Sorry about that.”

“I got lost on the way to the bus stop,” Misty explained.

“She has a terrible sense of direction,” Misty accused.

“Wait!” Jessie interrupted.  “It is customary to introduce oneself first.”

“Fair enough.  I’m Ash Ketchum,” Ranma answered.  “This is Hypre.”

“I’m Brock … and this is Scarlet.  Isn’t she neat?”

“We’re Misty …,” the Misties answered in stereo.

“Okay, nobody mentioned twins,” Jessie observed, looking at a clipboard.

“She’s my spirit beast,” the Misties explained.

“Is this supposed to be a joke?” James wondered, looking back and forth between the two.

“I’m not entirely sure anymore,” Ranma answered.  “I don’t think we’re supposed to be.  Hey, Misty, pull yourselves together.”

“Oh, all right,” the Misties agreed, reached out to grab the other’s hand, and tugged into each other with a snap.

“Doesn’t that hurt?” James wondered with an empathic wince.

“It stings little,” admitted a spinning eyed Misty.  “Wooo, headrush!”

“That’s your magic?” Jessie demanded.  “What a useless trick!”

“Hey, Professor Oak was impressed!” an offended Misty defended.

“The Professor is a perverted lunatic,” Jessie insisted, “who’s experiments are a danger to us all.”

“Hey!  You can’t talk about the Professor like that,” Brock insisted.  “He’s a well respected scientist, even if he did half destroyed the city with those atomic dinosaur clones last week.”

“No, you can’t blame that on the Professor,” Misty argued.  “And it was his radio controlled giant spiders that stopped them… eventually.”

“What about the time the giant termites built a tower in the park?”

“It was just a coincidence that the professor was testing pesticides that weekend,” Misty disagreed.  “And his giant armadillo mecha did save the day, even if it destroyed two city blocks in the process.”

“What about the horde of brainwashed panty–raiding kunoichi?”

“Well …  Okay, that sounds like him, alright,” Misty admitted.  She pouted.  “And they didn’t give back my imported black silk nickers.  They cost a fortune too!”

“Never mind about that now,” Ranma interupted, trying to erase his vivid imagination.  “Aren’t we supposed to be sorted into teams?’

“Yes, that’s right!” Jessie agreed.

“Except, you’re late,” James argued.  “Everybody else has been sorted.”

“Well, that can’t be helped,’ Jessie observed.  “So there’s nothing for it.  We’ll just have to:”
