Setsuna's Ninja Village: True To Yourself [Episode 193457]

"The 'True Transformation jutsu'," said Sakura. "What does that mean? I can do a transformation jutsu, it's a basic genjutsu skill."

"The 'henge no jutsu' is an e-rank supplementary jutsu that alters one's appearance," said Genma. "With it you can duplicate the appearance of another person, animal, or object. The 'True Transformation' jutsu is far more than that. The ninja doesn't just copy the appearance. If Ranma used it to become an anvil, you could pound horseshoes out on him. If he became a motorcycle, you could ride him."

"Let's not go there right now," said Michiru with a wince. Haruka might actually become more intrigued with this particular idea.

Genma shrugged, not understanding that. "There are limits. It is very draining to copy something that weighs more than twice his normal weight or less than half of that. He's fond of becoming a dog or an eagle in order to get away from me, despite the mass difference of the eagle. He has to study the form in detail and if he becomes something inanimate, he has to specify the amount of time he takes that form or he's stuck until his chakra hits a lower limit. He has to study the form in detail, and if he becomes someone else he picks up their mannerisms and some of their personality as well."

"So he could become... a log," said Sakura, jabbing out with a kunai.

WHOK!

The kunai remained imbedded in the log briefly. Sakura frowned, watching it.
