Ranma Saotme was sitting on top of a roof in the Juuban Ward of Tokyo. He needed to get away for a little bit. Ryoga had shown up as both himself and P-chan causing Akane to go into her 'don't pick on Ryoga/P-chan' rant. Kodachi and Shampoo had both showed up with some sort of drugged food. Kuno attacked Ranma for bewitching his pig-tailed goddess. Ranma just shook his head and sighed heavily.
'This was almost as bad as the time Kirin showed up. At least Akane didn't get kidnapped and the old lech was nowhere nearby," Ranma thought. 'I hope that type of situation doesn't become a standard day.'
Ranma was about to leap off the roof and head back to the Tendo home, when something caught his eye. It appeared to be a group of five girls wearing what looked like a cross between a cheerleader's outfit and a school sailor suit. He then spotted what appeared to be a woman painted hot pink and carrying a bagpipe that was lime-green with fluorescent orange stripes. She was also wearing a gunmetal gray bathing suit with canary yellow polka dots.
"Ow! I thought Principal Kuno was a bad dresser," Ranma muttered.
Ranma watched as the badly dressed woman attacked a school bus full of children. Ranma was about to leap down and help the children out, when he saw the 'cheerleaders' attacked the woman with bolts of fire, ice, lightning, a gold laser, and some strange pink beam.
"I thought the Sailor Senshi were an urban legend," Ranma muttered, and closed his eyes and tried to get a feel of their ki. 'Haven't had a chance to use this lesson of Pops before, due to all the nonsense in my life.'
Ranma's eyes snapped open in shock. 'Kami-sama help me! Those girls are only using a small part of their power.'
Ranma used the ki-sense again and shook his head. 'No. They haven't yet learned how to access it.'
Ranma sat and stared at the Sailor Senshi as they finished off the woman and she turned into bagpipes.
"Demonically possessed bagpipes?" Ranma muttered.
The girl with a red skirt looked around and Ranma realized that she could sense him and used the Soul of Ice in a panic attack to try and mute his ki to the point where it was no more than ordinary background ki. He breathed a sigh of relief when the dark haired girl shook her head and left with the others.
Ranma sat on the roof and thought about the Sailor Senshi.
"They were channeling the energy from somewhere else. The energy was coming from somewhere above or below them. Although that twin pony-tailed girl's channel seemed to come from the direction of the moon."
Ranma blinked as the names of the Sailor Senshi and what his senses told him coalesced.
"They are drawing energy from the planets in the solar system. Although Sailor Moon seems to draw from the moon instead of Earth," Ranma said to himself.
"Miss Hinako can draw energy from someone else with that chi drain attack that she learned from Happosai. If I can modify that attack, I might be able to link it up to one of the planets in the solar system. It could be something to use, if I have to deal with another Yokai like the ghost cat or the demon that possessed Kasumi or anything that isn't a martial artist that wants to make my life miserable."
Ranma quickly left the top of the building and went back to the Nerima ward and headed for the library. He leapt to the roof and grabbed a piece of paper from his school supplies that he had hidden on the roof to protect them from the element and his life. Entering the library, he headed to the astronomy section and wrote down the names of the planets and their major moons.
"Back again Ranma?" the old woman who served as librarian asked with a smile
"I need somewhere to keep my homework where it won't get destroyed by the craziness that is my life," Ranma replied. "I've got an idea for a new technique to help fight off stuff like the Ghost Cat or other creatures. I needed some information and I don't want anyone to know about it."
"Not going to use it against other martial artists?"
"Maybe against Pantyhose's cursed form, but that's about it," Ranma replied.
The librarian nodded. "There will be a shipment of books coming in tomorrow that needs sorted and placed on the shelves."
"I'll be here. At least this place is far better than the Cat Cafe or Uuchan's when it comes to paying me. Who would look for me in a library?" Ranma said.
The librarian laughed. "Go on, Ranma. Shoo! I'll be closing up shortly."
Ranma nodded and left. He jumped back to the roof of the library and looked over the list of celestial bodies. He quickly crossed off the moon, Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, and Venus. He tapped his pen to the list.
'There are mentions of a Tuxedo Mask. He might be linked to Earth. So, I can't use Earth. I wonder about the others.'
Ranma put aside the list and brought up his memories of Hinako's chi-drain attack and then used his chi sense to get a feel of the various celestial energies. He felt the energy channel that was leading to the moon and then towards Earth. He quickly confirmed that Earth was indeed linked to Tuxedo Mask and crossed it off. Checking the moons of Mars, he felt that they were linked to a pair of crows and he quickly crossed Diemos and Phobos off his list. Ranma leaned back and looked at certain names and shook his head.
'Knowing my luck, they probably already have links and the person that planet is linked to would sense if I tried connecting to their planet.'
Ranma quickly crossed off Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Closing his eyes, he followed the link to Jupiter and searched around the giant planet for the moons.
'If it wasn't for the links to the planets that I already sensed, I would not have been able to do this,' Ranma thought to himself in amusement.
Ranma quickly discarded all but the Galilean Moons. He shook his head and crossed Io off the list.
'That's more Akane's type of place. However, since there is a Sailor Jupiter running around, I'd have to be extra careful at linking to one of those moons. Ganymede seems to be the best.'
Ranma looked at the sky and realized that he had been doing this for the past three hours. He shook his head and decided to take a shot at the second largest planet.
'I can barely sense the link leading to Earth. Is he or she not aware of it? Ranma went on and felt around the moons and opened his eyes and smiled.
"It's perfect. A name that I can respect and it larger than the moon or Mercury," Ranma muttered. "The moon Titan. I could try and use the sun, but it would probably burn me up from the inside out. Since the link to Saturn doesn't seem to be active, I can do this without alerting whoever Saturn is linked to."
Ranma kept his chi sense on Titan then started working on modifying Hinako's chi-drain attack to link him up to Titan. As he did so, he felt a rush of power sweep through him and felt something inside him change. He reeled and came to with him lying flat on his back.
"What the blazes happened?" Ranma asked to the sky.
His eyes were drawn to his left arm where he was now wearing a martial arts bracer that was glowing with a soft light. On the bracer was a modified 'h' done in gold with a purple oval drawn somewhat elliptically through the 'h'. There was a splotch on the purple oval that was larger than the rest.
'That looks somewhat like of those drawing for atoms. I guess the letter stands for Saturn and the small purple dot is Titan and the ring is Titan's orbit. I think it worked.'
Ranma saw that the glow had faded from the bracer and it quickly faded away. Before Ranma could move, he heard his most dreaded fear.
"Meow!'
Ranma turned and saw that there was a golden tabby about ready to pounce on a bird. He quickly backed away from the cat, before he realized something. He gave a loud laugh that startled both the bird and the cat and sent them fleeing.
"I'm no longer afraid of cats and I can still do the Neko-ken. I guess some of that energy was healing energy. I wonder if I'm cured of my curse."
Ranma thought about his girl side and suddenly he felt his clothes shift and change. He looked down and saw that his clothes were now fitting loosely on his girl form.
"Not cured, but controlled," Ranma muttered and then grinned wickedly. "I'm not going to tell them how I did it either."
He shifted back to male form and then headed to the Tendo home. He did not know the panic he had caused and what he had just gotten himself into.
Setsuna Meiou AKA Sailor Pluto was hunting for Sailor Saturn when she felt something shift and change. She quickly headed to the Time Gates to get a better reading and blinked in shock and horror.
"Two Sailor Saturns! One was bad enough, but this...!"
All she could get of either Sailor Senshi was their clothing. One Sailor Saturn had a white suit with a purple skirt. The other one had a yellow body suit with a purple skirt.
"I wonder what if this affected Crystal Tokyo?" Pluto mumbled and looked into the future.
"No more Crystal Tokyo, but the solar system still doesn't need to be at the mercy of two Sailor Saturns. I guess I should thank the second one, since I'm free of the geas. But, I still have to protect the solar system."
