A woman with long brown hair nodded to herself and smirked, as she thought of Ranma Saotome.
"Good. The assistance I gave him to access Senshi abilities worked better than I thought. Queen Serenity is dead an I want my children to have their own future."
The woman walked to a cell where there were several people chained to the walls. She cast her gaze to a gold skinned man with red hair and a beard.
"Ah, Mighty Zeus. You will be pleased to know that I'm still interfering with the workings of the Fates and Destiny."
"Let us go!" Zeus demanded.
"Still defiant after all this time? You locked my children in here and then tried to turn humanity into mere game pieces for your own amusement. You got what you deserved. The so-called Golden Age was when you and yours ruled the sky and the land. The Silver Millennium had its problems, but it at least left my children alone. I'm now repaying that debt to them by creating a protector for one of their reincarnated warriors. Let's not forget that you used Echidna and her children as mere tests for your children or the children of your pantheon"
"You really think a mere mortal can stand up to the powers that are coming?" Zeus demanded.
"Mere mortal? He is arrogant, brash, rude, and has other problems, but he is an excellent fighter. One of his rivals has strength greater than Anataeus and he still can beat him. The Sailor Senshi can stand on their own. They did manage to kill your daughter Metalia after all. It cost them, but they did it."
"Why don't you go out and stop these threats?" Zeus demanded.
"Because, unlike you, I trust that the humans will be able to stand on their own. I just interfere when I sense Fate and Destiny try to shackle free will. Your cousin is having a fit about what I just did, but I suspect that Setsuna will come around on the new Sailor Senshi."
"You said he. Men can't become Sailor Senshi," Zeus said.
"That is true. However, he has a Jusenkyo curse and now has it under his control. When he needs to, he can become a she. Toodles Zeus. I'll bring pictures next time."
The woman waved and left Zeus struggling against the chains. "When I get free, I will tear apart the Sailor Senshi and reestablish our dominion over the stupid humans! Do you here me Gaia! Gaia!"
The woman turned back and looked in Zeus' direction and shook here head. She left and then whispered to herself.
"Yes, you will get free soon of the prison Tarterus. You will fight the Sailor Senshi. Before I intervened, the Sailor Senshi were deemed to win, but at the cost of me being frozen for a while. I choose not to be frozen. Thus one Ranma Saotome as a Sailor Senshi. I am Gaia the spirit of Earth and I want all the life I have given to survive. You might win this time, but it will cost you and humans will still have free will."
In the Hikawa Shrine Rei Hino awoke from a nightmare she couldn't remember and was sweating heavily. She shook her head and headed to the Great Fire.
"I wonder what's going on?" Rei muttered.
"A lot of things," came from a voice from the other side of the fire.
Rei jumped a bit and saw a man with gold skin and golden hair leaning against the wall. He was wearing a three-piece tuxedo done in various shades of yellow.
"Who are you?" Rei demanded, as her senses told her that this was not a human.
"A messenger of sorts. Crystal Tokyo and Chibi Usa no longer exist," the man said.
"What, but we went there," Rei objected, idly noting that this man knew she was a Sailor Senshi.
"Manipulations of Fate and Destiny to those still loyal to Metalia's father."
"Metalia's father?" Rei echoed in a hollow voice.
"And Sailor Pluto's cousin. I guess that's why she's hunting so hard for Sailor Saturn. She doesn't want the Earth destroyed by the power of the Silence Glaive and wants to make up for the horrors her family has brought to humanity. However, when her cousin and his followers break free, the Silence Glaive will be needed."
"You have to be joking. Sailor Pluto is related to Metalia?"
"Nope. By the way, I am Pluto's uncle. I side with what is best for humanity, even though it has cost me in the past. I still feel that eagle at times. Despite what is written, our leader and Pluto's father were two separate individuals. Her father was neutral in the war. I feel sorry for that white cat of Minako's when his namesake breaks free. She hates men and loves the wild. A domesticated male cat is a major slap in the face for her."
"What is your name?" Rei asked, getting a vague idea of who he was talking about.
"My name? I think you'll be able to figure it out on your own. Our leader has created a new Sailor Senshi for help in the times to come."
He waved a hand towards the Great Fire and shook his head.
"If you want more information, you'll have to use this. I have to meet the rest of my crew."
The man glowed brightly for a second and Rei had to close her eyes from the brilliance. When she opened them, she saw the man had gone.
"Another Sailor Senshi?" Rei muttered and looked at the Great Fire.
She sat down and started concentrating on what she had just heard. Images of a girl with red hair showed up and she then saw a glaive falling through space and piercing the sun, causing the sun to explode. Images of a bleak and barren canyon appeared and Rei could swear she could hear creaking chains.
"We don't need this," Rei muttered. "I wonder what he meant by Artemis' namesake. I mean the person Artemis is named after is the Greek goddess... No. It can't be."
Rei sat looking into the fire feeling her eyes get moist. "It can't be. He can't be serious."
In a secluded glove of trees on the side of Mount Fuji, the man in the yellow suit met with some others. One was a satyr and another was a woman wearing a black leather dress. There were others as well, but they stood out from the rest.
"How did it go Prometheus?" the satyr asked.
"She now knows what might be happening. She might not like it, but she'll get the ball rolling. Circe, are you ever going to disenchant Jusenkyo?"
"It's no longer needed. Taro, Saotome, and Rouge will hopefully be enough to aid the Sailor Senshi. I've removed the magics about an hour ago," the woman in the leather dress replied, and held up a quartz crystal flashing in various ugly shades of colors. "I've got all the magics stored in this crystal."
Prometheus nodded.
Pan muttered to himself, "Why didn't Gaia have Ranma tie himself to the sun?"
Prometheus chuckled a bit, "He would have burned himself out. Still bitter about the prize you won for beating Apollo in a music contest?"
"He skinned me alive and used my previous skin to line his chair. It took me a year to regrow all my skin and nails," Pan replied. "I'm also not too fond of my father."
"I guess I can't blame you," Prometheus said. "We've done all we could for right now. If they need advice, we'll be there. It's up to the Sailor Senshi for right now."
"What of the Deathbusters and their leader?" Circe asked.
"Good practice for them. Although, you might want to do an exorcism on Hotaru to mess up their plans a bit," Prometheus said.
Circe nodded.
Prometheus laced his fingers and pushed his palms away from to crack all his fingers. "Now, let's watch the havoc that is about to ensue in the Nerima ward."
