Ranma sighed as he landed on the street several blocks from Furinkan. Some days it just didn't pay to tell the tomboy the truth. Not that he was believed anyway. He wished he could think of a way to fix things in his life, but even though he 'was' getting smarter he still couldn't find an answer. He stood up, dusted himself off and checked the time, deciding he might as well head out now, he started roof hopping towards the edge of Nerima, heading for Tokyo proper.
It always amazed him, how the world had shrunk so much with advances in technology, but he'd still spent most of his life in the middle of nowhere. Even Nerima could count as that. The whole place seemed not to have advanced in over forty years! Mostly since the land was almost entirely owned by wealthy, technophobic clans like the Kuno's. But they never even saw a car! Cameras and televisions were all outdated, heck, the most advanced thing he remembered seeing inside Nerima was that "One Punch" armor. Ranma shook his head clear as he approached the edge of Nerima, the one that DIDN'T lead to forest and mountains and ancestral training grounds to weird martial arts styles. Before him was...
