"No, I don't think so," said Genma.
"Don't deny it!" said the figure with a dramatic gesture and throwing his disguise off (an afro wig and obviously fake moustache). "I, Might Guy, am not blind!"
"Actually, I'm his son's kunoichi," said Tenten.
"WHAT?! No doubt he's putting you to all sorts of inappropriate and licentious use," declared Might Guy, now rounding on the boy trying to eat ramen.
"Mmmph murf," said Ranma around a mouthful of noodles.
"No he hasn't," said Tenten. "No matter how I try... oh heck i can't believe i said that."
This had an unusual effect. Might Guy stared at Tenten, still in a dramatic declaration pose, but the effect was somewhat discarded by the jaw hanging loose in the wind.
"Notmyfault," mumbled Genma into his own ramen.
"Yes it is!" said Tenten.
"Y-y-you," said Might Guy before managing to pull himself together. "Very well then, I challenge you."
"Hah?" asked Ranma.
"Wha?" asked Tenten.
"Pfeh," said Genma.
"Why are you challenging my Master?" asked Tenten.
"To free you from your enslavement where you don't even get to enjoy the pleasures of youth!" said Might Guy. "This Master of yours doesn't even have the skills and nerve to take proper advantage of you!"
"Would you mind not yelling things like that?" asked a flustered and embarassed Tenten, who was quite aware of the person behind the counter of the ramen stand snorting and shaking with suppressed laughter.
"You want me to fight you?" asked Ranma, eyeing the older man.
"No, my student - Rock Lee!" said Might Guy.
Brief silence.
"Ahem," said Might Guy, clearing his throat briefly. "My student - Rock Lee!"
More silence.
"Guess he missed his introduction," said Ranma as he tried to turn his attention back to the ramen.
"Rock Lee?" asked Might Guy.
"Just a moment!" came a call from the bathroom.
Might Guy hung his head briefly.
"These things happen," consoled Ranma, jabbing his chopsticks in the general direction of the bathroom door. "Been there, done that. Ya been out on a training trip, get into town, nature (or indoor plumbing) calls. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go - and all that."
"Well, yes," admitted Might Guy, sitting down.
"What about it, Tenten?" asked Ranma. "Ya wanna go with them?"
WHONK! went a paper fan atop Ranma's head, having been placed there by Tenten.
"I think that's a 'no'," Ranma informed the older ninja.
