"Kakashi."
Naruto looked shocked. "Kakashi-sensei?!"
Turning to Sakura, Tsunaded added, "You too, Sakura."
"Kakashi-sensei, huh?" Sakura muttered to herself.
"Yo!" A muffled voice greeted from the window. It was Kakashi and he was waving at them while leaning against a wall. "I sneezed, so I figured you had gotten to the part where you told them about the event, Hokage-sama." He looked at Naruto and Sakura. "You know, it's gross when you sneeze into a mask..."
Sakura laughed nervously. Yes, yes, I imagine it would be...
Kakashi stepped over to Naruto and looked down at him in examination. "You have a different hairstyle, Naruto-kun."
"That's not all that's different..." Naruto muttered up at the tall man.
Looking away, Kakashi scratched his cheek. It was as if he was distracted, but that wasn't anything new or unusual. "I suppose not. You've gotten taller too, haven't you?"
Sakura looked at Naruto and stepped up to her as if measuring with her eyes. "Ah! He's right! You're taller than me now, aren't you?"
Naruto grinned brightly at Sakura and said, "Yep, yep! By a few centimeters, I would say."
Suddenly, Jiraiya was on his face, tears were streaming down his face joyfully as he exclaimed, "Naruto-chan is going to bloom into quite a beautiful young woman." He hovered over Naruto, his fingers wiggling anxiously. Naruto stepped back fearfully. "All she needs to do is let a bit more skin show and—"
There was a thunderous wham and Jiraiya slumped a bit with Tsunade's fist on the top of his head. "Don't speak your perverted thoughts out loud so casually."
Hitting her fist on her palm, Naruto perked. "That reminds me." She rummaged through her waist bag and then pulled out a book. "Kakashi-sensei, this book is a gift for you."
"Hm?" Kakashi looked at Naruto as if he was being pulled back from a far off place. "A present? For me?" He looked at the book and immediately recognized the logo used on the cover. His eyes widened and he gasped, "Ohhhhhhh~ It...can't be!"
Naruto held it up for Kakashi to take, and Kakashi did so immediately. "It's another one of those books that you always read, Kakashi-sensei."
It almost appeared that Kakashi was trembling with anticipation. The book had the title Make Out Tactics. "Th-This... This book doesn't even have a release date yet!" Kakashi looked at Naruto in shock. "Are you really giving this to me?"
Jiraiya looked at Kakashi. Be grateful, Kakashi. It's as you said, that one hasn't even been released yet.
Cocking an eyebrow, Sakura wondered, What's Naruto doing with a suspicious book like that? Maybe he hasn't grown up at all!
Waving her head, Naruto replied, "Yes, I'm sure. That book is really boring and lame. I suppose it takes someone...err...special...to appreciate it, I suppose..."
Hmph! Jiraiya folded his arms and looked away. Of course a girl wouldn't understand the truth and beauty that lies in that book! He looked up. Wait... He was a still a boy when he tried to read it. Then he's just simply an idiot...
Kakashi carefully placed the book in his back pouch and crouched on the window sill. "Meet me at Training Ground 3 at six o'clock tonight. I have...some things that I need to do before then." He disappeared in a blink of an eye.
Sakura rolled her eyes. "You know he's only really going to be reading that book the entire time."
