That tended to happen when students of... dubious self control, considerable power, or both, needed to be educated.
As such, it wasn't too shocking to Oogami that they would be having to hustle to get there. Considering the fact that they could be coming from very far away, it was understandable why they would have a tough time getting there. Why, he could remember what it was like back when he'd been enjoying the days in the theater.
Shaking his head clear of the old memories that were about to resurface, he took note of the fact that these newest arrivals were actually coming quite late. Usually, students wanted some time to settle in, and get the lay of the land. If nothing else, it was better to get there early, so that any problems could be settled before classes were first held. Given that it could be rather bothersome to have to come all that way, and find that one was not registered for classes, that was seen as rather reasonable.
However, it seemed that this 'Ku Fei' girl, and her soon to be roommate 'Zazie Rainyday' were both going to be pushing the line when it came to arrival times. Fortunately, it seemed that they weren't going to have to worry about any difficulties, since his information indicated that the pair was already set up to attend the school. Of course, that tended to be the case anyway, as few clerical errors were allowed at a school where the student body could pound the students of a 'normal' school silly. But it did seem that these two would be perfectly capable of handling any such trouble on their own.
Not that it seemed that they'd have to worry about feeling out of place, seeing as they were foreigners, since there were plenty of non-Japanese students in the school. Truthfully, a lot of the 'bosses' on campus were either born in other countries, or had foreign blood in them. And those students who tended to judge by appearances usually learned not to do so rather quickly.
With students like Evangeline McDowell around, that was perfectly understandable. As she demonstrated, one could look like a petite little girl, but have a reputation that would scare off all but those who could really face her. Nobody really understood how that came about, but as she was one of the few students to have her own permanent quarters, and was said to have hidden abilities that had terrified many a 'tough' punk, she and her roommate, Chachamaru were understandably given a wide berth. Since she had made it clear that she merely wanted to be left alone, and didn't particularly care for any of what she termed the 'petty politics' of many of the students, they had little problem in giving her what she desired.
Now, these two newer arrivals would likely find their own places in the 'world' of Furinkan. As Ku Fei's profile mentioned something about 'excellence in the martial arts', and Zazie was apparently involved with something called a 'Nightmare Circus', they would seem to have their safety relatively assured. What concerned Oogami was the fact that the pair seemed to have been sent to the school with an odd sense of timing. He almost had the feeling that someone wasn't exactly 'playing' things the way that routine and habit had settled things into. By what he could tell, it was entirely possible that it could be nothing more than a simple paperwork difficulty, but he found that it did seem to be a little... odd.
Scratching at his chin, he began to wonder if this was going to be the last of the 'surprises' coming his way, or if something new was going to pop up, while:
