She still had a few bruises from her fight with that new kid. She'd ask Daisuke and Hiroshi if they'd gotten any names when they'd talked with him.
Eventually she'd have that 'little princess' type to play with, maybe the swordswoman too.
Konoka sneezed, then went back to dusting, glancing briefly at her bed where Setsuna was asleep.
Ranma had apparently decided to steadfastly ignore his current roommates and concentrate on a book. THAT was no fun.
The storm finally arrived, the gust front creaking the windows slightly before the rain hit.
"Looks like it'll be a bad one after all," said Ranma.
"At least we made it to our rooms before it hit," said Konoka, listening to the force of the rain.
"Well, this certainly sucks," said Evangeline, the umbrella held over her head nearly useless because of the way the wind whipped around from different directions.
"I am sorry, Mistress," said Chachamaru, trying to adjust how she held that umbrella.
"Pfeh. Never mind. Let's get inside before you rust," said Evangeline. "What's your assessment of that boy?"
Chachamaru followed behind her mistress. "Exceptional martial artist who specializes in speed-based techniques. When he kicked at Akane Tendo, he struck her fifteen times on the first pass, twelve times on the second. At her speed level, she would have only registered two kicks. Then he scrawled something on her forehead and finished her off with an uppercut. Considering his strength and speed, he could likely have defeated her with a single attack - yet chose that method. Style used was a mix of Jeet Kun Do and Shotokan Karate."
"Yes," said Evangeline. "The boy might be quite entertaining. At the least he and his entourage will shake things up a bit."
"The tall one seemed to detect our presence," said Chachamaru, shaking the umbrella once to dislodge water as they entered the building.
"Ninja from her clothes," said Evangeline with a shrug. "The boy's studied multiple styles. She's specialized in one. You'd expect the specialist to be better at it." Chachamaru followed her mistress through the building towards their suite.
