[Episode 195403]"It's done." Zexion announced looking from his Book.
"What's done?" Kurix mumbled, slowly turning his inverted replica of Xehanort's negative keyblade created and destroyed at Hallow Bastion. The weapon was red where the original was black and vice version, somehow making it look even more ghastly than the original, with only the slight tell tale sign of the heartless sword edge replaced by a nobody shape one showing it's true nature.
"It is done." Zexion said as separately pronouncing the words made his statement clearer. "Crystal Tokyo's existence in the target timeline has been adverted, and thus Tokyo That Never Was has no been locked into place. We do not need to worry about this world vanishing under our feet."
"Hey, I don't remember you saying that before." Nixma jibbed with the echo of surprise, one of the few human responses that didn't require emotion to work.
"That's because I didn't." Zexion said with all the fear or concern of a winter breeze. "But the point is, our base of operations is now solidified, and we can peruse the cause without needing to calculate that factor in our equations."
"What is the cause again?" Nixma asked, the question giving her a sense of remembrance about a white cat always telling how she asked obvious questions, a lot another girl with blond hair and a cat. Of course, she now had brown hair. But even while alive, Nixma remembered the underlying feelings of being just someone's shadow. This made her all the more dangerous as a nobody, most likely why Zexion had welcomed her into the fold. Not that he had much choice, being hopelessly under staffed compared to the organization's glory days.
"Simple, and it's a goal that's existed as long as most of civilizations." Zexion said calmly only looking at her in the face out of the -habit- of being polite. "To take from the haves, and give everything to the 'have nots' of course."
"Sounds like a plan to me!" Nixma said making a point to sound enthusiastic. 'Sound' of course being the key word. To dramatize this she took a few twist slashes with her link-chain-sword gripping the hint tightly, the links making up the chain shaped like little eaten away hearts of course.
"As long as I become the real one in the process, count me in." Kurix said cooly. "So when do we get more company? Or did you make a grab for this place just for the elbow room.
'Kurix is observant, noted.' Zexion thought silently, "That depends greatly on fate I'm afraid,"
"You believe in fate?" Kirux raised an eye brow.
"Not really, but it's a good metaphor for variables beyond one's perceptions. Since darkness and light exist in all timelines in one incarnation or another, there are hearts lost to darkness, and thus the empty shells left behind, or even shells born without hearts to begin with. However normally they just -wander-, with Tokyo That Never Was, it creates the anchor of existence within the non-existence that they need to keep their grip on reality."
Nimxa tilted her head, only understanding about half of that. So she had a couple Dusks slap each other silly.
My liege.
Zexion blinked as he heard his Mime nobodies speak to him in that voice that was not a voice all non-human nobodies had.
Another. Another! The voice that was not a voice now reached the closest thing the empty shell could come to excitement.
"Speak of the devil, and you might just get his attention." Zexion said cooly, not a totally unscientific fact, after all, Xehanort himself had forged an alliance with the ruler of Bald Mountain after all.
"We got another one?" Kurix asked his attention captured for a moment.
"Very likely." Zexion said cooly sitting up from the crystal throne that never was intended for Neo Queen Serenity.
All three people in black rain coats turned as a dark gate opened, the intermediate level nobodies helping a humanoid form along.
The Mime nobodies helped shoulder the human looking nobody with a sort of reverence, after all, these were the ones who would lead them back to being whole!
If Zexion or Kurix had still been human, they would have decidedly reacted greatly to the sight before them. As a rule, most nobodies appeared in attire that was, much like the nobody, a cheap fake version of the actual thing. Xemnas said it had something to do with memories of clothing being dragged along for the ride. Zexion had uncharacteristically come to the much simpler conclusion that the censorship gods were always watching. However this had just proven incorrect.
The humanoid, female, and yet another youth (Zexion was beginning to feel like the principle of the high school of nothingness). She was also naked, wearing absolutely nothing. Her hair was a cobalt blue, contrasting with her ghostly pale skin and those pools of blood in her eye sockets. These crimson eyes blinked this way and that in confusion, looking for something that wasn't there anymore. Zexion also calmly noted for future reference her body was covered in scars, arms, legs, torso, face, making her look rather like a fleshy patch work doll.
As Zexion calmly walked closer to her, he could hear what was sounded like the recording of a giggle escaping her throat, and the slight words, "Who...who...where....who?"
While all of Ansem's students jockeyed for position of first apprentice much to the old man's cringe, with Xehanort being the clear winner. Ansem The Wise had always told Ienzo that the one thing he only lacked was ambition. Thus, Zexion able to copy a few magic tricks he fellow nobodies knew, and of course, the biggest trick of all.
Japanese Kanji appeared before the new nobodies eyes, before shape shifting into english letters. One gesture of the hand, and they began spinning, with another gesture, they stopped.
A look of clarity formed in the dark haired girl's eyes as she read the words backwards (for foreword was facing Zexion and thus was backwards to her).
Darkness twisted around her body, shifting into the familiar black rain coat as she spoke her name. A mirror staff with the nobody symbol appeared in her hands. "Xiyu."
"The new you."
