The Doctor smiled as he stared at his current host. "Is there any other way to do this?" the other person asked hopefully.
A shake of the head. While he was sympathetic to his host's present problems and desires, the man born Grigori Stefan Wysynski was not one to sugar-coat the truth. No matter how much it might hurt emotionally or spiritually. The truth had never been sugar-coated for a very young boy when he bore mute witness to the brutal attack made by Major Raeburn on the Sicherheitsdienst's genetic research unit at one of the satellite camps of Konzentrationslager Auschwitz near the village of Babice, just to the northeast of the Birkenau (or Auschwitz II) extermination facility. What he had witnessed that day, both in the images of the mutilated and mutated shells of humanity the Major had liberated that day in 1943, not to mention what the Major had done to the SD officers in charge of the facility in response . . .!
"There is none," he stated. "No answers that could give the same positive result for you in the long term." With that, he then asked, "So, what is your choice . . .?"
