Ataru was not the only one that Doctor Destructo had taken interest. There were others as well, many of them approaching a crucial point in their lives. A few of these individuals were tied to magic in some way.
One was a boy, found in the aftermath of a fire caused by a secret war between a sect of magic users. He had a small but of magical power, which he sought to use as a hero. Becoming a Yizibajohei would certainly give him a chance to do just that.
Another was a girl with a vast magical potential---potential that made her a target for a dark force. There were a few others whose fates were entwined with hers. Those girls might also be interested in changing their destinies
A third was also magical, but he had plenty of experience with magic already, having attended a magical school. He was approaching his fourth year, and without intervention, it would be much more difficult to avoid a destiny he did not deserve.
All three of these individuals deserved a chance to seize control of their fates. And now, ____ would receive that chance.
