Setsuna's Fault: Pluto's bet? [Episode 19612]

by Kestral

Three timelines. Dozens of paradoxes. Given time (oddly enough) the Gates Of Time would have worked out the roils. Too many trips from Chibi-usa back and forth across the timestream, changing things and dropping hints added to this latest botch caused the eruption.

Sailor Pluto felt herself grabbed and thrown clear before the "eye" of the storm closed and she had a last glimpse of Ranma Saotome before reality closed the seam.

Crickle

Pluto stared in alarm at the web of cracks running up her Time Key Staff. That would mean...

In the blink of an eye she was at the Gates Of Time and she stepped back in genuine horror. Cracks running the breadth and length of the two ornate doors. So she could advise someone in the past, alter Ranma's development, and if she did it right - tie the advise line off as an automated message from the single area that itself was a Paradox Free Zone. The Gates themselves. He had to survive to the point of time she'd just left and there were an awful lot of events in his life he might not have survived if they'd gone differently. Of course, if he didn't go through some of the prior events - he might not have been in life-or-death later.

That left who to advise. She'd only get one shot at this and she had to consider carefully the consequences.
