With the weight of the world behind her, Sailor Pluto tried to fix a minor problem in a minor solar system, in an unremarkable galaxy.
So as far as the rest of the universe was concerned, this particular paradox wasn't important. On a local scale, however, with three radically different futures - it was.
Timeline #1: Mihoshi had never found the Lamp and wished she had a job like that. Ranma died in a little over a year, and most of the Nerimans associated with him didn't do too well either. However the Great Freeze occurred, Crystal Tokyo saved a few thousand humans to live in their Utopia, Queen Neo-Serenity ruled, exiles to Nemesis, etc.
Timeline #2: RoboTokyo. The advent of Homo Sapiens Tekorganic. Not only did Ranma survive, but the race went on to a destiny that was hard at times but glorious in its own right. A race that went on to not rule planet Earth, but to become a valued member of the Galactic Federation that rivaled (some would say surpassed) Jurai in terms of greatness.

Resulting in Haruka tied up but the damage had been done.
She was juggling two timestreams and added a third. As a glimpse of Timeline #3 reached her, Sailor Pluto fumbled.
She managed a brief wail of dismay as three timelines collided and twisted, as other forces got ahold of the mess and set the whole thing on frappe.
With two very odd results.
One was, though nobody would believe it, that this was not Ranma's fault. It was Setsuna Meiou, Sailor Pluto, whose connection to the other Senshi pulled them into the mess.
Ranma, coming back, saw a woman being sucked into a tunnel of mists and went into action. He launched himself, grabbed her hand-
