Brock was a little different as he looked over the Professor's shoulder. "Oh. Cool."

Nurse Nanako went from skeptical to curious to impressed. "One of the Greater Arcana, and a high level one at that."

"Greater Arcana?" asked Brock.

"Oh, I thought's that what you meant by 'cool'," said Nurse Nanako.

"No, I just like the design," said Brock.

"There are Greater Arcana among the spirit-beasts," instructed Nurse Nanako. "Fool, Magician, Emperor, Empress, and so on. Then there are the various levels within those Greater Arcana. Not all of which have been properly researched due to their rarity."

"He got THAT?" asked the Professor, color beginning to show again. "Ash?!"

"Something wrong with it?" asked Ash.

"You got the Fool Arcana, Susano-ou," read Brock. "Looks cool though."

"The 'Fool' I'm not surprised by," said the Professor. "But Susano-ou? Patron of Heroic Warriors? Ash?!"

"There has to be a mistake," said the Professor. "Where did you get that?"

"From a gashapon machine in the Velvet Room," said Ranma. "Igor said it was okay."

"What gashapon? What room? Who's Igor?" asked the Professor, beginning to twitch.

"Can I get one from there?" asked Brock, sizing up what the Professor had gotten for Misty and what Ash had gotten on his own. He was leaning to follow Ash's lead.

"NO!" said the Professor, activating the mechanical arms. "I've got just the thing for you."

• Brock escapes.
• Brock gets Tireisas... oh dear.
  Ash: "Better him than me."
• Misty demands a second chance. So does Misty.
• Brock gets something else.
• Or something else entirely could happen.
