The tube extended from the ceiling, and a large blob of protoplasm glopped down into the test chamber as the locks and bolts sealed off the rest of the complex.
"It's the perfect spirit beast for you, Brock," said the Professor. "I'm 200% sure!"
"200%?" asked Nurse Nanako.
"Wouldja believe 150%?" asked the Professor.
"I'd find that hard to believe," admitted Nurse Nanako.
"How about 75%? 35%? 10% and some change?" asked the Professor.
"HELP!" yelled Brock in the test chamber.
"What exactly IS it?" asked both Misty, then turned to glare at her twin.
"Tireisasusuasus as," tried the Professor. "Tireis or something."
"The sexchanging spirit beast?" asked Nurse Nanako.
"WHAT?!" came a yelp from the test chamber.
Ash spared a glance at the monitors. Sure enough, Brock was running around the test chamber, covering his family jewels. "Better him than me."
"Yes, just imagine the possibilities," said the Professor, looking off into empty space. "Locker rooms, bathing facilities, slumber parties - Brock will be able to access such places at will!"
"But I don't want to lose Mister Happy!" said Brock.
"you wouldn't say that if you'd ever met him," muttered Ash.
"Be a man, why don't you?" asked the Professor.
"That's my intent!" said Brock. "I want to stay that way!"
"Much better him than me," said Ash.
"So I can split into even more copies of me?" asked the two Misty looking over her pokedex entry.
"I'm surprised you didn't put her three sizes in that pokedex entry," commented Nurse Nanako.
"Don't be absurd," said the Professor, actually looking scandalized.
"Really?" asked Nurse Nanako.
"There could be variations in size based on the physical characteristics of the individual, not to mention racial and genetic predispositions," said the Professor.
"Really?" asked Nurse Nanako, sounding less skeptical. Almost hopeful.
"I need to go around measuring and experimenting," said the Professor. "It's definitely a hands-on project that I need to investigate thoroughly."
Ash wondered if the Professor could actually be Happosai.
"Ah, look," said the Professor, "Brock has been caught by his spirit-beast. I told you it would work out. He's now gotten Tireisas-"
