((-I am your other half, Brother Avatar)) Suzaku said looking strait into Naruto’s eyes. At this statement Naruto took an involuntary step back as he muttered out, “how can this be?” The thought that he could be in any way, shape, or form related to such a powerful creature that claimed to be the never before heard of Juubi seemed to be utter nonsense. Never the less, Suzaku was claiming that such a thing was true.
Suzaku closed his ‘eyes’ once more before he continued to explain their complicated relationship. ((This, Brother Avatar, is at the heart of just who and what we are. We both know that our mother Jean Namikaze was not native to this world or universe, agree?)) Seeing that Naruto was slowly nodding his head in agreement, Suzaku continued his lecture. ((What you do not know was that the world Jean was born on served as the protective defense of a creature of unimaginable powers and was known only as ‘The Phoenix’. Do you follow what I am saying because this is important?))
Naruto thought about what Suzaku was saying before nodding his head. After all, if his world had giant demons, why couldn’t his mother’s world serve as a protective fort for a powerful creature? Seeing that Naruto was following him, Suzaku almost let out a grin before continuing. ((The Phoenix, over the eons, began to want to see what life was like for the creatures that lived on its shield. It found our mother and marveled at her potential. It then grafted a ‘seed’ of its power into her genes so that it could observe what she experienced.))
((Brother Avatar, when our father used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal on the Kyuubi to seal that abomination of nature into us, something unexpected happened to us. Our X-gene, which is the source of our and any other bloodline, along with the seal, the Phoenix ‘seed’, and Kyuubi’s power all merged and warped around each other. This merging and warping culminated in the creation of me, the 10-tailed Phoenix. I have lain dormant in your mind all these years, feasting off of the Kyuubi and the wasted mental energies of the people of this planet until I have become self-powering and the strongest creature ever to grace this world.))
((I hold the same powers as the Phoenix from our mother’s home universe. However, I do not hold those powers to the same degree. My power, if it was equated into tails, would be 10 tails. This and the fact that I have a slight demonic energy signature is why I have taken the title of the Juubi.))
Naruto nodded his head following his ‘brother’s logic. Naruto was over all, quite pleased with the situation. He had traded the Kyuubi for a far stronger and FAR friendlier roommate. Still, Naruto was curious as to what having Suzaku within himself would mean.
Sensing Naruto’s question due to their soul-link Suzaku spoke up. ((Brother Avatar, there are some things about this arrangement that we need to discuss. I had, during my awakening when Mate Ino was wounded, preformed several basic changes to our DNA. The healing factor that the Kyuubi added to us has been incorporated into our bloodline. Second, Brother Avatar, you and our descendents shall be able to draw on my power like a second power source. However, for now I will only allow you to draw out 1 tails worth of energy. Any more for now and serious damage could be done to our body. But, with training you will be able to increase that limit to, at most, 6 tails of energy. Even with our current bloodline, Brother Avatar, our body would be destroyed due to too much energy flowing threw it.))
