“How long is this bridge?!” Naruto yelled out to himself. It had seemed like hours since he had started walking along this bridge over the rock wall and still no end was in sight. That wall had long disappeared leaving Naruto with just the bridge in sight and what looked like a massive golden lake below. Actually, Naruto was beginning to think that it was a sea or an ocean instead of just a lake.
Naruto was beginning to contemplate jumping off the bridge and go swimming in the ocean when the view head of him started to clear a little more. Naruto couldn’t believe his eyes as he saw what looked liked a Shinto shrine. With this sight renewing Naruto’s energy and enthusiasm, he quickly ran the distance until he came to the doors of the shrine.
Upon reaching the shrine, Naruto began to look over it more carefully. The shrine was highly ornate made of the finest woods and precious metals. The ‘grounds’ around the shrine were all well taken care of without a single weed or thin patch of grass. When Naruto looked over the sides of the ‘island’ that the shrine was on he saw a MASSAVE waterfall of the golden liquid that made up the lake he had been crossing over falling from the base of the island.
Talking to himself Naruto said, “Whatever’s in here must have the answers that I’m looking for.” Gathering up his courage Naruto walked over to the door of the shrine, opened it, and walked into the shrine. As soon as Naruto opened the door he heard a voice in his mind saying in a voice that carried wisdom and knowledge, ((so my brother the Avatar has finally arrived.)) Naruto turned to look for the source of the telepathic voice and was shocked at what he saw.
In the center of the shrine where a statue or picture of a god was supposed to be was a giant golden basin. The basin was intercity carved with images of various animals all in a state of prostration. Sitting in this basin was a large beautiful golden bird. The sight of the bird caused Naruto to be filled with wonder and awe. With a slightly shaking voice Naruto inquired, “Who are you and why are you hear?”
At this question the fiery bird cocked its head to the right and had it’s ‘eyes’ closed as if it was considering the question. Naruto grew nervous as the fiery bird delayed giving its answer. With the same ‘voice’ as before it answered Naruto, ((You may call me Suzaku, the 10 tailed Phoenix! As to why I am here-))
