It was a crisp cool evening on the streets of Yamashina, one of the eleven wards of the city of Kyoto. Probably around zero degrees celsius. But for Sakurada Jun, that didn't really bother him.
For once, he had to actually get out of the house and get some fresh air so he could try and think about the events that had transpired without having the dolls disturb him. Honestly, what had he gotten himself into?
"I... am not junk...!"
If anything, he could honestly admit that if he had the chance, he would give that Rozen guy a piece of his mind. Having his creations participate in this brutal game to give birth to his ideal and perfect daughter... seriously, what the hell was that? And out of all of the Rozen Maidens he had encountered thus far, Suigintou had it the worst...
"She is an unfinished product. While Otou-sama was making her, he erased her design..."
The thought of how devoted she was to her father, even though he has cast her aside like that... it just burned in his mind. And before he knew it...
If that guy doesn't want her for who she is... then I'll gladly take her, flaws and everything!
He looked down at his ring and sighed. He had a feeling that being a medium to two Rozen Maiden dolls who happened to be serious rivals was really going to come back to haunt him down the road.
It was the aroma of freshly brewed tea that awoke her from her slumber. 'Where am I?' Her body felt awfully strange... and complete. The dress that had been burned by the blue flames had been restored and she also felt some strange energy nourishing her.
She immediately got up from the bed she had been lying on and felt her mid-section. Rather than the familiar feeling of emptiness, she felt her own hands through the dark fabric. "Welcome back, Suigintou."
The first of the Rozen Maidens sprang into a defensive position as she heard Shinku's greeting. Her eyes then settled upon her rival, who happened to be enjoying some evening tea near the foot of the bed. "...... what do you think you're you doing?"
"Enjoying some Earl Grey tea. It's actually a bit lukewarm but considering the trouble that my servant went to save your life, I suppose I can give him a break just this once." Shinku took the pot and poured some of the warm brew into another cup. "Would you like some?"
