Her mind was coming up with all sorts of possible scenarios of what could happen if she initiated a fight right here and now for Shinku's Rosa Mystica. But from her personal recent experience going up against the power of the Fifth Doll and her medium, Suigintou wasn't too eager to jump into battle right away. So she settled for a neutral pose and a glance of dismissal. "Hmph. I'll pass."
"Suit yourself." Shinku finished the last of her own tea and poured herself a fresh new cup to finish the pot. "Just don't go making a mess of things here. I would hate for Jun to spend his time cleaning up when he can get more Kun-kun shows on that box of his."
"......?" The First Doll glanced over at the machine on the desk that Shinku was hinting at. "Kun-kun?"
"It's a detective program. I think you'll like-" She was cut off as a black feather whizzed by her golden locks and buried itself in the bedroom door.
"What's with all this... talk anyway?!" screeched Suigintou.
'Her reaction was to be expected. Suigintou still hasn't realized what was going on.' She placed her tea down before speaking. "You must have so many questions right now. How about you calm down and ask each question one at a time?"
"Don't treat me like a child! I'm the First!!" Before she could speak further, a clown doll appeared before her eyes in a combat stance as if it were going to defend Shinku. It was the same doll that Suigintou had used in her first attack on Shinku's medium some time ago. "......!"
"It's all right. She won't be starting anything." The clown doll seemed hesitant at first but it seemed to accept Shinku's words and returned to its original place.
"... is that the same doll that..." She shook her head. "Impossible! I destroyed that doll myself!!"
"And Jun brought it back. Just like how he brought you back and gave you the last piece of your body," replied Shinku in a calm tone.
Pure denial was displayed in the First Doll's red eyes. "That human couldn't have done it!! Only Otou-sama has that power!! He... saved me once before after Souseiseki tore me apart back then...!"
"But you saw that power with your own eyes, remember? When he restored my arm in the dream world..."
She was speechless at the thought of that human saving her. After all she had put him through, he still went out of his way to bring her back. It was also at that moment that she realized something. "There was something else that happened in that world..."
"Do you remember?"
She remembered her own screams of pain, her tears and the revelation of her shame in front of her adversaries. And then there was one more thing... she remembered stretching out her arm in a last attempt to reach Otou-sama... the human approaching her...
... and that was when the contract had been created between them. "It really happened?"
"That's right. Of course, you could break the contract but that would mean surrendering your right to become Alice." She took a sip of her tea right after that comment to hide the small amused smile that had formed on her lips.
Considering that she was going to have a huge change in routine because of this new arrangement, she may as well enjoy whatever little pleasant surprises that come her way. And the horrified look on her elder sister's face was definitely one of them.
