Which was why a wish for calm girls had turned at least Sango and Kagome into Jedi Knights. Except that these were Jurai-based variants. For one thing, Mihoshi didn't want to screw up any romances and she could see the affection Kagome had for Inuyasha and vice versa. Inuyasha also had a fair amount of respect, and vice versa, for Sango.
"My pardon, Lord Inuyasha," said Kagome, rising to her feet.
"'Lord' Inuyasha?" asked Miroku.
"What's going on?!" asked a slightly panicked and largely bewildered Shippo, taking note of the changes for the first time. "Inuyasha! What did you do to Kagome?!"
"We're still figuring that out," admitted Miroku.
"I didn't do nothing!" declared Inuyasha. "It was that ditzy gal in the see-through stuff."
"Kagome? Sango?" asked Inuyasha. "Are you two okay?"
"We are well, milord," said Kagome, her eyes looking around. "I sense your brother nearby."
"He is not concerned with us," stated Sango, her eyes closed.
"You can tell that?" asked Miroku, wondering if Sango could read minds. If so, that meant... Miroku tried not to think of certain girls and activities.
Sango's eyes opened and she looked directly at Miroku with a momentarily inscrutable expression.
