Zolf and Rodimus nodded at the wisdom of that suggestion and put aside their curiosty of the weapon aside.
The three of them gathered up enough food and drink to make the trip. Once they did so, they quickly left and headed toward Seyruun. Zelgadis, hoping he would meet up with the others soon.
Zolf asked, "So who are we going to see in Seyruun?"
"I have to let Prince Philionel know what has happened to Rezo. The assistiance of the White Magic capitial of the world will be invaluable in stopping Rezo. I'm also hoping I can get the whereabouts of a certain sorceress."
Rodimus asked, "Which one?"
"If you can't trust a Holy Man like Rezo, you have to trust to a self-serving greedy person. The Bandit Killer:Lina Inverse."
Zolf and Rodimus gasped.
"Master Zelgadis, is that wise?" Zolf asked. "There are rumors that she can pull of the Dragon Slave, but they might be just that. Rumors."
Zelgadis shrugged. "Maybe. But, can you think of any other person who might be strong enough to deal with Rezo?"
Rodimus muttered, "This is going to be expensive."
Zelgadis inwardly smiled. 'Yes, she is greedy and self-serving. But, she is also pragmatic and will do her best to keep Shabranigdo from being reborn.'
Zelgadis said, "Rodimus, Zolf and I will take turns watching at night. I am not being offensive to your abilities to guard. But, the two of us have magic to help offset our tiredness during the day. You should be well rested for each day's journey, so that you'll be in peak condition."
"But Master Zelgadis..." Rodimus protested.
Zolf interupted, "Master Zelgadis isn't insulting you at all. He just wants to make sure you are at your best when the time comes for a fight. It's for his protection as well as yours."
"I understand."

Dilgear slammed his hand into a tree as he looked at the devestation caused by Zelgadis unleasing that weapon of his. "I can't beleive this many of us were killed by him. I can now see why Rezo wants him back."
A troll walked up to Dilgear and mumbled something.
"Blast it, he must have just kept running after doing this. It looks like we are going to have to track him the hard way. Sniff him out. Have the wolfmen hunt for Zelgadis' scent. Once we do, we go after him and bring him back to Lord Rezo along with his staff."
The troll bowed and carried out his order.

A girl looking like a golden Lina Inverse watched as the forces started gathering towards Seyruun. She smiled as she saw the huge amount of confusion that was going to result of the upcomming meetings.
"This should be entertaining. Lina's form is suitable for now. I had better get back to the Sea of Chaos and keep a close watch on this place. Vorphied and Darkstar have overstepped their bounds. It's time to remove them, but I'll let Lina and her friends do it."
The Lord of Nightmares vanished from the world of Cephied and Shabranigdo and waited for the explosion that was about to occur.
