When Lina changed the past by killing Joyrock, she altered history so that Gourry, a descebdent of Roudy, would be born, weilding the Sword of Light.
The meeting with Gourry ensured that Lina would be barely victorious over the Shabranigdo shard that possessed Rezo.
Rezo-Shabranigdo's defeat would lead to the destruction of Sairaag by copy-Rezo, and rising Mazoku interest in Lina.
The Mazoku interest in Lina would lead to the deaths of Gaav and Phibrizo, and the fall of the Mazoku barrier.
Gaav's death would enrage Valgaav, and make Valgaav seek vengence by opening the gates to permit Dark Star into the world.
As one can see, all of Lina's adventures were tied closely.
But thanks to Lina's foresight, half of the events listed were less likely to happen.
Lina had claimed the Philosopher's Stone for herself, preventing for now Shabranigdo's return. As of now, Sairaag wasn't destroyed, Sylphiel never learned the Dragon Slave, Valgaav isn't seeking revenge, and Phibrizo doesn't want Lina to cast the Giga Slave.
But the fact that now the five Dark Star weapons were in the possession of the Slayers, that Lina was in possession of the Demon Blood Talismans, and Amelia for unexplained reasons was already an master of white magic, a new chain of events was going to occur.
The kingdom of Zoana had a spy in Seyruun, a spy who heard the news of Amelia's increased powers. This news would be passed to a still power hungry Martina and her father.
Eris would receive new orders from Rezo, orders which she will relay to Zangulus.
Xellos would be sent to track down the Demon Blood Talismans, with various other Mazoku eying his steps, and eventually leading them to Lina Inverse.
Needless to say, at the Lord of Nightmares noted, the events ahead are going to be... interesting.
