In the outer world, the Supreme Elder frowned at the news he received. "You cannot find it anywhere?"
The other dragon shook his head. "Nowhere, sir. No one has seen it, touched it, or holds it within our ability to search. If they had, we would have found something!"
The Supreme Elder frowned at the thought.
The younger dragon spoke again. "You... you do realize what that means, sir..."
The Elder frowned and nodded. There was only one place that they couldn't detect... inside the Great Barrier. The place where the Water Dragon King died. A place ruled by Mazoku, not the Gods.
And somehow, in some way, someone within that barrier now possessed the Bow of Light. A weapon so powerful that the Gold dragons wiped out the Ancient Dragons to ensure it was never used against them.
The elder sighed. "Have Filia perform a divination. She's the best at that..."
The younger dragon grimaced. "I'm afraid... Filia's gone missing, sir."
"WHAT?!"
"The last anyone saw of her, she was meditating over a green gem she had found. When an acolyte went to collect her for dinner, she was gone. No one knows where she went off to."
The Supreme Elder grit his teeth. This was not turning out to be a good day...
