Section 19: Relations Between Peers [Episode 198117]

by The Demented Redhead

The group of the Senshi watched as their two smartest: Ami and Setsuna went through the contract handed them by the head of the secret military base. They had already spent the better part of two hours reading it, dissecting it, trying to figure out if and where a trap might have been set.

And as they neared the end, they were also starting to suspect that there was no trap.

“I’ve told you before,” said Nabiki, as she leaned back in her chair, “there are no hidden loop holes in that contract. You stay in as long as you want, follow the guidelines and you don’t get fired. It is a pretty standard contract, not much different than what you’ll find in most corporations.

“Then again, it should be pretty good, your analogs designed it,” said Nabiki, watching as shock grew on their faces.

“Analogs?” asked Rei.

Nabiki nodded. “We’ve run across hundreds upon hundreds of realities on our search for home,” said Nabiki. “We’ve run into Senshi on those trips. There were worlds where the Moon Kingdom never fell, where you were a larger threat than Beryl, where Love and Justice were replaced by Pain and Suffering,” she said sadly.

“You ran into evil versions of us?” asked Ami.

Nabiki nodded. “A world eventually overrun by the Nazis did not leave much room for cheerful girls to grow up in,” she said. “There is always a path you may never have walked but another version of you did. Hell, I’ve run into three worlds where the lesbians are Venus and Jupiter and the boy chasers were Uranus and Neptune.”

That caused a stir among the four girls mentioned. “WHAT?”

Nabiki nodded. “We also have weapons, talismans, equipment designed by and for the Senshi,” she continued. “Like I said, we’ve seen the variations, everything from Shadow Empress Moon to Princess Serenity’s great-great-granddaughter trying her best to seduce my husband, and even Dominatrix Moon who fought for Sex and Lust,” she finished, her hands typing at a console before her as a screen lit up, showing various analogs of the Senshi, both in battle and in peace. “The multiverse is an infinite place, a place not so much of what you might do as what you could do.”

“Talismans?” asked Makoto. “As in our equivalent to the Outers’ weapons.”

Nabiki nodded.

Minako was too busy to ask about anything at the moment. When Nabiki had mentioned that in one reality she was a lesbian, the Senshi of Love had dove for a Singles Devil Hunter magazine, looking for someone who could kick butt, fought for Earth, and was male thus not likely to be upset with her own career. The fact that last night she had had a wet dream about the Inners had nothing to do with it … really.

“Finished,” said Ami, as she lowered the Mercury Computer down from scanning the document.

Setsuna nodded from her own copy. “Everything seems to be in order, quite frankly a much better definition of what both sides expect than I had expected from such an agency.”

Nabiki smirked. “We’ve been through such a situation more than enough times to get it right,” she said. “The fact of the matter is that if we’re stuck here for eternity, then I will damn well ensure my children have a better world to live in that when I got here.”

“Um … excuse me,” said Minako, holding up a photo. “This one says the guy is a half-demon.”

Nabiki nodded.

“But aren’t all demons evil?” she asked.

Nabiki snorted. “That is a generalization, like saying all humans are good. Demon or human, in the end it is your actions and reasoning of those actions that define if you are good or evil.

“Besides, I don’t think you’d want to ask him out. He may only be half-demon, but that half is tentacle sex demon.”

“… I’m not seeing the bad part here,” said Minako.

“Does he have a brother?” asked Makoto.

“No,” said Nabiki, “but he recharges his demonic powers through sex, such as around three to five women at any given time. That’s not exactly a good foundation for a monogamous relationship, and even a solitary Senshi can’t give him that much energy.”

“Damn,” muttered Minako as she turned back to the booklet. Maybe he has a weaker relative…

Kimiko Saotome-Tendo was a lot like her mother at times. She was cool, witty, and shrewd.

“What did you say?” she growled out.

She was also a lot like her father in the fact that she would fight tooth-and-nail against being told what to do and who to date.

“Forgive me, Pigtailed Girl,” said Tatewaki.

“I have a name, dumbass,” she growled back.

“Ah, the divine beauty wishes to grace me with her name,” he said with a smile, as he bowed. “Pray then, my beauty, what is thy name so that I might shout it from the heavens?”

Yuki just snickered; glad she had inherited the right mixture of genes not to look like her father’s female form. It had led to way too many problems for her older sister, let alone their big brother who could almost pass as their father.

“My name,” she growled out,” is Kimiko Saotome-Tendo.”

“Ah, tis a beautiful name!” Tatewaki declared. “Come dearest Kimiko, let us embra—ERK!”

His speech had been stopped as had his embrace by the hand of a very angrily glowing redhead holding … the Kuno Family Jewels.

“I did not give you permission to touch me, I never stated I wished to date you, and I refuse to bow to any promises made by that man,” she said, pointing with her free hand towards Ranma Saotome, “while he was trying to get something out of you using his female form.”

“She’s so going to have to burn that hand off,” muttered Yuki, looking green at the sight of her sister grabbing someone’s … stuff.

Yugi just nodded, still looking at his book. “I just hope any blood spatter is gratefully directed away from us.”

Most of the surrounding guys looked on with wide eyes, some shocked that someone would touch Tatewaki there, others green in disgust from the site, others in slight fear and trying to discretely keep their own organs from being grabbed like that, sympathizing in said pain … at least the ones without casts on their hands.

The two Tendo sisters and one Saotome male stared on in shock.

“If you ever try and touch me again without permission, if you ever invade my personal space again, I shall ensure beyond all doubt that the only way the Kuno name will live on is either through your family or a likely donation from you to a sperm bank. Do … you … understand?” she asked, emphasizing each of the last words with a tightening of her grip.

“Y-y-yes,” squeaked Tatewaki.

“Good,” Kimiko said, as she released her grip … and then kicked Tatewaki into LEO. “Perverted jackass,” she grumbled, as she shook her hand. “That’s going to have to be exorcized now.” Casting her glare about, she watched as several males darted away from her, any perverted questions they may have had for the girl vanishing as they saw her strike at Tatewaki in the one spot many agreed was where he thought.

“Now then,” she said, turning to Akane, “was there anything else you wanted to discuss?”

At that point, with her mind in shock, Akane did the only thing she could think to do.

She began to clap.

Kimiko began to flush in embarrassment as said clapping was soon joined by many of the females and non-perverted males present.

“Well,” said Yugi, as he turned a page in his book, “give the people what they want, and they’ll always thank you.”
