Section 19: Lunch Hour [Episode 194021]

by The Demented Redhead

“They’re staring at me,” growled Kimiko, sitting under a tree with her younger twin siblings, and enjoying the lunch period.

“You are in fact a person who is an incredible likeness of our father’s female form at that age,” said Yugi, still with his nose in his book. “Add to that the fact our father’s analog is in the same grade as you, and many are wondering perhaps if you are an evil clone or some other such nonsense.”

“I’m more willing to bet they are wondering if you will create as much chaos as Father,” said Yuki, sipping her tea.

“Better than exposing herself,” muttered Yugi, remembering his Father’s own lack of feminine modesty.

Kimiko snorted. “Yeah; already dealt with more than a few perverts today.”

“I wondered why so many boys had their hands in a cast,” muttered Yuki.

“HEY YOU!”

Blinking, the three turned, spotting the very same trio they had run into that morning.

“Sister dear, please refrain from creating any damage,” said Yugi. “You know Mother will be upset if she has to pay for the building to be rebuilt.”

Ignoring the complaints of the pigtailed boy she was dragging around, Akane glared, trying to find the girl who had avoided her all morning. Finally, she spotted her target, sitting under a tree with two others from that morning. “HEY YOU!” she screamed out, dragging Ranma behind her by his pigtail, as Nabiki joined them.

“Who are you?” demanded Akane.

“Not very courteous, is she?” remarked the boy with his nose in a book.

“Well?” growled Akane.

The Ranko-clone sighed, as she started to point. “He’s Yugi, his twin Yuki, and I’m Kimiko.”

“What are you doing here?”

Yuki blinked. “We’re eating; don’t tell me that much wasn’t obvious.”

“My sister means,” interrupted Nabiki, wanting to gather some facts before her sister’s temper boiled over, “why are you attending this school?”

“Because we live in the district,” said Yugi.

“Because we need an education,” said Yuki.

“Because our parents have a sick sense of humor,” grumbled Kimiko.

“And why do ya look like my girl form?” asked Ranma.

“We’re related,” said Kimiko.

“And how is that?” asked Nabiki, wanting to know if more Saotomes were about to descend upon them like a pack of vultures.

“Have to ask our parents,” said Yuki quickly. “They never really clarified it, just said we might be related to your families.” It was the truth, one never knew how to classify your analogs; friend, foe, family, targets. Also, let her parents suffer through this; she just wanted to eat, damn it! What was wrong with that?

“Ya mean I might be cousins with the tomboy?” asked Ranma in shock.

“Stay yourself, foul sorcerer!”

Ranma and Kimiko both sighed as Tatewaki Kuno strode up to them. “I see the foul rumors you had spread that my beautiful pigtailed girl and you were one and the same, foul cur, were indeed false, as she sits before my noble self!”

Nabiki had to chuckle at that. Leave it to Saotome to finally have Kuno understand the curse, only to have another version of his cursed form show up.

“Now then, I shall forever free the pigtailed girl and the fierce tigress from your clutches!” Tatewaki proclaimed, as he drew his bokken.

Yugi sighed. What did it take to find somewhere quiet to read his book?
