Nadira Tenso is the second child of Sora Tenso, the owner of a brothel in New Tarazuka. All three of his children by the madam were sold off into slavery, which earned him a long prison sentence when this was discovered. The oldest was on Alderaan when that planet was destroyed. Spider was sold to gangsters and quickly proved her talents by killing her first owner during sex and then managing her resources for several months without anyone knowing about either event. She stripped the resources when she fled, eventually managing to buy off her pursuers after utilizing the seed money in a number of highly lucrative but illegal ventures.Her youngest sister, Akane Tenso, was killed when she hid in an engine compartment when her ship was boarded. The boarders test fired the engine but left the Red Streak due to its stripped down condition.
Nadira has no family that she knows of, and if she did wouldn't care. She goes entirely by the name Spider, as she has since the day she killed her former owner, for the past thirty six years.
Spider is an information broker whose reputation is such that if it is worth knowing, she'll have the secrets involved or can get it.
