Usagi thought about the options in front of the newlywed Darkstalkers before she quickly came to a decision. She turned to face Ranma, and in her now seductively sweet voice, said, “Ranma dear, I think we should go raid the Cat Café first. It’s the only location that we would have to worry about being discovered by people. I’m sure you’ll be able to find some great techniques written down over there that you’ll be able to teach me later. I’ll go and get the mirror you spoke of. Once we have everything we need, we’ll leave and head to a safe location for me to repair the mirror.”
Ranma nodded his head agreeing with Usagi wholeheartedly. He then led her outside the Tendo house to a spot in the Tendo yard that was the easiest to leap onto the roof from. First Ranma and then Usagi leaped onto the roof of the Tendo home. With Ranma in the lead, Ranma and Usagi roof hopped over to the Cat Café. Given that this was Nerima; a pair of people, one of whom was Ranma; roof hopping would not be noticed by the general population. Once they arrived at the Cat Café, Ranma did a quick check to make sure that no one was home.
Ranma then tapped a spot on a particular window pane, knowing that Happosai had rigged the window to open when that spot was tapped. On hearing the window pane pop, Ranma swung open the window and climbed into Shampoo’s room followed by Usagi. Ranma then turned to face Usagi and said, “Okay we’re in. From what I remember in my pound the perv chases through here, the Old Goul’s room is two doors down the hall. That’s where the stuff we’re after is located.”
Usagi nodded her head and gave Ranma a quick peck on the cheek to show that she understood him. With a very faint blush on his cheeks, Ranma then led Usagi out of Shampoo’s room and to Cologne’s room. There, Ranma applied some tricks he had observed Genma using when Ranma was younger to pick the door lock. As soon as the door was open, Ranma and Usagi practically flew into the room. The two of them ransacked Cologne’s room of anything of value for the two of them. Books containing varius techniques, the locations of mythical tribes, tomes detailing various mystical artifacts and much more were all taken by Ranma. Usagi first took the broken mirror that Ranma had mentioned before she took every item that she sensed had a mystical property. Not even the Mad Russian jellybeans were spared, and they only granted you the ability to curse in Russian while you ate them!
The two of them piled all their loot onto Cologne’s queen sized bed and then double checked to make sure that they had everything that they wanted. Once the final sweep was done, Usagi started to wonder in her mind about how they would carry all of that stuff with them.
As if sensing her concerns Ranma smiled and said, “Just watch; this is why a person shouldn’t use a single technique so much in front of an enemy.” Ranma then rapidly grabbed the items on the bed until they had all disappeared.
Usagi looked on in amazement at what her husband had done before Ranma said, “Your enemy just might copy your technique. Now my dear, where should we go to next?”
