He almost frowned at the sheer amount of hostility she was radiating but kept it to himself. She was one who had greatly enjoyed her independence from a medium for quite some time and now, she's more or less shackled to the same medium that belonged to her hated rival. "What brings you here?"
"Don't talk to me!!" snapped Suigintou in the middle of catching her breath. "Because of you, I'm tainted!!"
Jun blinked at her accusation. 'Well, that's a new one...' He was even more startled at the amount of raw emotion in the First's red eyes.
"I thought that maybe... just maybe, if I fought hard enough in the Alice Game by myself with my own feelings, Otou-sama would notice me and think that I'm worthy to be Alice! Worthy of his love!! And you ruined everything!!"
He was about to yell back in response when he remembered how it had been his intervention that virtually turned her entire world upside-down. Now the question was how he could take responsibility for it. "...... such a wonderful song of faith and devotion that you sing for him. He's a very lucky man to hear such a hymn... that Rozen."
Suigintou looked at Jun as if he had lost his mind. "W-what?"
"In fact, any parent who has a child who loves them so purely would consider themselves blessed and lucky... not that I can speak from experience of course. But what bothers me the most is... with the effort that you Rozen Maidens are putting in to try and become the perfect daughter, is Rozen qualified to be the perfect father?"
"... o-of course he is! He's..." She trailed off as more of Jun's words sank into her mind.
The boy merely smiled to himself. Who knew that buying those wacky psychological tarot cards from the internet would pay off? "Well, since you wish not to speak with me, I shall take my leave. If there's one thing Shinku drilled into my skull, it's to respect a lady's wishes. I hope you enjoy the rest of the evening, Suigintou." He gave a light and respectful bow before strolling away.
"...... wait!!"
He paused but didn't turn around. "What is it?"
"I would like to continue our conversation... please?" Jun was startled at how vulnerable she sounded and when he turned around, his eyes were treated to a rare sight of the First Doll looking absolutely lost.
With her seemingly shaken appearance, he didn't have that much of a reason to doubt her. "Alright... but not out here where it's too open. We can head back to my home and-"
Suigintou cut him off quickly. "No! I... know of another place where we will not be disturbed."
"... alright. Lead the way."
