Alucard had returned to the Hellsing mansion after the fight between Ranma and Wilson had ended.
He was currently in Integra's big spacious office and had reported the first part of his observations to her.
“So these nightly raids on blood banks are not the work of teenagers with an unhealthy fascination for the occult, but are actually being committed by a pair of vampires?” Sir Integral Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing asked Alucard, the domesticated vampire of the Hellsing organisation.
“Indeed they are, my Master,” the vampire replied, tilting his head forward slightly.
The young head of the Hellsing organisation rested her elbows on her large desk and steepled her fingers in front of her face. “Another pair of vampires. That is troubling news. We'll have to eliminate them.”
Alucard's ever-present smirk widened. “I would advice against that,” he said. He wouldn't normally be this bold, but he wanted to keep his Master from making a mistake. And he had a feeling that killing the two young Japanese vampires would be a mistake.
Integra's eyes narrowed. It wasn't like Alucard to talk back to her like this. Usually, he did as he was told.
Bending forward in a gesture of authority, she commanded, “Explain.”
The nosferatu told her about the other happenings he had observed that night: Ranma's fight against the horde of ghouls, the pigtailed vampire's brief conversation with the English vampire Oliver Wilson and the subsequent duel between the two midians.
The young Lady Hellsing made a thoughtful noise. “I see. So they steal their blood from medical facilities, instead of feeding on humans, and they fight against ghouls and other vampires. That is certainly unusual.” Turning towards her butler, who stood slightly off to the side, she asked, “What do you think about this, Walter?”
Politely putting a fist in front of his mouth, Walter cleared his throat before he replied, “I would advice caution, Lady Integra. As of yet, we don't know their motives for their actions. While it could be that they, for whatever reason, fight their own personal war against vampires, they could just as well have their own agenda, which they don't want to jeopardise by drawing too much attention to themselves at this point.”
Integra considered this before she said, “We have their names. I want our intelligence department to dig up every last bit of information on them before I decide on our course of action.”
