“They were both born in Japan, about seventeen and eighteen years ago respectively, in the Nerima ward of Greater Tokyo.”
Walter stood in Integra's office, outlining what information the Hellsing Intelligence Department had managed to gather on the two vampires Alucard had told them about the day before.
“Nabiki Tendo attended various schools in Nerima. Most recently she went to Furinkan High School, where she was chosen to participate in a student-exchange program. She now attends a comprehensive school here in London. Her student record is spotless, she has perfect attendance records and her grades were also among the top percentile.
“Ranma Saotome apparently did a lot of moving around as a young boy. He attended various schools throughout Japan, but his duration of attendance was never longer than three months. When he was fourteen, he and his father moved to China. After they returned, Ranma moved in with Nabiki Tendo's family and also attended Furinkan High School, where he was chosen to participate in the same student-exchange program as Miss Tendo. Unlike Miss Tendo, however, Mister Saotome's student record contains reports of various fights he was involved with and his grades are merely average.
“They've been in London for about three weeks now.”
“That's about the time when the first robberies started,” Integra said. She considered all this for a few minutes, then came to a decision. “I want Seras Victoria to make contact with them and see if she can find out their true reasons for being here.”
“Are you sure that is a wise decision, Lady Integra?” Walter asked. “As you know, Miss Seras has not been a Draculina for very long and is still inexperienced.”
Integra pursed her lips and nodded. “You're right. Alucard shall accompany her, in case Mister Saotome and Miss Tendo prove themselves to be hostile. But I want him to remain in the background and not intervene until his interference is absolutely needed.”
“As you wish.” Walter took a bow, then turned to leave Integra's office to inform Hellsing's pair of domesticated vampires of their new mission.
Integra picked up the dossier on Ranma and Nabiki Walter had left on her desk.
“Just what are you two up to?”
About two hours later, a similar meeting took place aboard a Zeppelin floating above South America.
“So, two new vampires have entered the picture. That was unexpected.”
“Yes, Major. What shall we do about them?”
“For now, nothing. We will wait and observe until we know more about them. They might just prove themselves useful for our plans.”
“As you wish, Major.”
