Usagi was currently snuggled next to her, now official by Darkstalker standards, mate Ranma. The two of them were lying on Usagi’s bed without any clothes; having just finished feeding. As she laid there cuddling up to Ranma, Usagi could feel Chibi-Usa’s soul start to form a brand new body. The thought that she was now pregnant both thrilled and scared Usagi. Usagi turned to look Ranma in the eye and said, “Ranma what are we going to do? We still have so much to learn about how to control our powers and now we have to worry about our daughter as well. And what about the Sailor Senshi, I may be their princess but they’re more of a shoot first ask questions later group.”
Ranma started running his hand through Usagi’s silk-like hair and softly whispered into her ear. “Don’t worry Usagi, everything will be alright. Things will likely be difficult at first due to our situation and the loose ends that we have, but we’ll make it work. We still have the ruins of the Dark Kingdom, not to mention those of the Silver Millennium, to use to our advantage. We have all of the Amazon’s lore and knowledge to help us out of some of the local magical problems. And last of all, we have the Nanban mirror should we need to retreat from Tokyo for a while to get stronger.”
Usagi started to smile as she drew comfort from what Ranma was saying. Ranma’s analytical mind, now always on instead of just during fights because of his transformation, was just one of many things she liked about him. Ranma was able to look at the situations ahead of them better than she could. However a new set of worries came to Usagi’s heart, which she promptly brought to Ranma’s attention. “Ranma, what are we going to do to support ourselves? Being teen parents is going to be difficult for us.”
Ranma nodded his head as he softly spoke. “I know Usagi. To be honest I’m slightly scared about that as well. But, I think I’ve figured out a solution for us. Now this is only a rough idea so we’ll need to hammer out the details together. I figure that I can find various underground fights and win a good deal of cash that way. This way, plus possibly breaking up a few yakuza bosses, we’ll have enough cash to start off. We can gather enough money to last us through collage. Once out of collage, we could open up a nightclub. That would provide us with a steady stream of cash, and possibly a feeding ground as well.”
Usagi leaned into Ranma and wrapped her arms tightly around him. She then closed her eyes and said, “Thank-you Ranma. I’m glad that you’re my mate; I don’t know what I would do without you here to help me.” Usagi then fell asleep using Ranma’s chest as a pillow.
Ranma gently ran his fingers through Usagi’s hair and said, “No Usagi, it is I who am glad that you’re my mate. You would do just as well or even better without me. However you came to me and made me yours. I will do whatever I can to help you my fallen angel.”
