Ranma and Usagi woke up just as the first rays of the sun entered into the window. The two newly mates then transformed into their civilian clothing and they then exited from Usagi’s bedroom. They did a quick sweep of the Tsukino house and found that Ikuko and Kenji were both sleeping in the master bedroom. Ranma, due to his protective instincts regarding Usagi’s pregnancy emerging, did a sweep of the outside of the house just to make sure that there were no threats.
After his sweep was finished, Ranma head back inside to talk to Usagi. Ranma found Usagi sitting on a kitchen ledge gently swinging her legs without a top on. Ranma then raised an eyebrow and said, “Are you hungry again already Usagi?” Ranma hoped that wasn’t the reason why Usagi was dressed like she was. He didn’t know how much energy the pregnancy would take out of Usagi and was worried for her.
Usagi just smiled and said, “No Ranma I just felt like going without my shirt. After all, we’ll be the only beings within almost 400,000 km of where we’re going. Don’t tell me you would rather I keep these big girls under a shirt when I could have them out here.” Usagi emphasized her last point by putting her arm under her assets and used the arm to cause said assets to jiggle.
Ranma held back a slight grown as his cleared up intellect looked for a reference to the number Usagi had mentioned in her flirting. He suddenly remembered a stray fact from one of his science lesions and said to the smirking Usagi, “So I take it that we’re going to be exploring those ruins on the Moon you mentioned the other day.” Usagi’s only response to his question was to nod her head. Ranma then got a serious look on his face as he said, “No offense Usagi, but how are we going to get to the Moon? I’m not sure that we can just fly over to the Moon and the Nanban mirror, even if it was repaired, is too chaotic to be used for transportation like that.”
Usagi then got up off the kitchen ledge and sensuously walked over to Ranma and wrapped her arms around him from behind. Whispering softly into his ear Usagi sweetly said, “Now, now Ranma. Don’t tell me that you honestly forgot that like you I have several aces up my sleeves?” A sudden quick flash of silver and black light temporally blinded Ranma. As his eyesight quickly returned to him, Usagi softly whispered, “Just like there are advantages to having a godslayer for a husband; there are advantages to having a wife who has the memories of a princess of a magic wielding kingdom.”
Ranma blinked his eyes twice and looked about where he found himself at. No longer were he and Usagi standing in the Tsukinos’ kitchen. Instead, Ranma found Usagi and himself to be in the middle of a wrecked marble plaza. Looking up into the sky Ranma saw the Earth shining down at him. With a grin on his face, Ranma stated with a laugh in his voice, “That there are Usagi; that there are.”
