There were elements perhaps that he was reading into it. Here was someone who was neither one thing nor another. Someone with a big heart who was ready to fight and practiced what could best be described as Anything Goes - adapting to each fight and situation to eventually triumph over the bad guys. He'd glanced over the more ecchi parts to get to the next fight where she'd adapt to the situation and pull a scam on the bad guys.
Which was where he'd gotten the first idea of using various disguises as a girl coincidently.
Whenever the Pervert Duo got a new one, they'd show him. It was one of the few things they had in common.
Not that he could ever bring anything like that back to the dojo. Akane would scream pervert and pound him. Nabiki would sell the information and it would be used to embarass the hell out of him. No doubt his father would yell about it being unmanly or girly or something. No, best to keep it a dark little secret and make sure that Hiroshi and Daisuke knew that telling anyone would result in them getting pounded.
There she was though. The sometimes somewhat hentai angel. Cutey Honey Kisaragi.
She was almost the direct opposite of uncute tomboy - though no doubt she could become that at need.
The thought of her becoming some lech's sexslave, even if Ranma was unclear of the meaning, was even more revolting than someone trying the same thing with Akane. Maybe because someone trying to kidnap Akane wasn't as new concept. Or perhaps because, to Ranma at least, the girl blinking blue eyes up at him stood for some principle or standard or something.
Cutey Honey herself was smiling up at the hunk who was gawking at her, not realizing that Ranma had not been able to read the display correctly and that she had been reprogrammed:
