"R. Dorothy Wainwright," stated the mechanical maid.
"Why 'R'?" asked Ranma.
"Because I am of a different model and series than the other units," said R.Dorothy. "I am more mechanical in nature and can interface directly with various machines."
"So," said Ranma, pausing long enough to get his shirt on. "Some of the other android girls aren't mechanical?"
"Some are more of a artificial human sort, while still others are cyborgs or utilize fundamentally different approaches to the approximate destination," said R.Dorothy.
Ranma turned that over in his head a few times before dismissing it for later consideration. "Normally I'd get some sparring and exercise done before eating anything."
"I shall relay that to kitchen staff," said R.Dorothy.
"I'll eat first today I guess," said Ranma, eyeing the table laden down with food.
"Very well," said R.Dorothy. "It would be best if you called an assembly for later today, then spoke your preferences directly to the staff."
"Uhm, maybe later," said Ranma. "Before that -"
