Any disappointment that she might have had over her suggestion being delayed wasn't shown on R. Dorothy's face. In fact, not much of anything in the way of an expression was shown on her face. "You do?"
"Yeah, sure. I figure that I've got ta get to this breakfast first."
"That would be expected."
"Wouldn't it now?" he asked and strolled over to the food laden table.
"You still haven't said yet."
"Said what?"
"What you wish to do instead of an assembly of your maids," the redheaded gynoid told him.
"Oh. Right."
"Aren't you going to say what it is?"
"Can't I just wing it?" he asked, sounding hopeful. "Maybe find a way to do things as I go?"
"Then you'd be a louse, Ranma Saotome."
"So, no go...."
"It is your choice if you want to disappoint all the maids in one sizable group," R. Dorothy stated.
"Ah...."
"You weren't planning on doing that, were you?"
Ranma eyed the feminine figure standing near him and wondered if all these robot girls were going to be this strange. With her slender figure, R. Dorothy was actually quite a looker, or would be, if she gave some life to herself. Instead, she always had that dead pan expression that he was starting to realize never totally went away.
"Well then, what do you want to do?"
He sighed and plopped down into the chair set for him. "The way that I figure it, I can't know what I want from this place unless I actually know what I've gotta deal with."
"Hmmm?"
"It's really simple, ya know. All I've got ta take a look 'round. Get a feel for the place."
"You want to take a tour," his female valet stated.
"Somethin' like that."
"Understandable. Would you like me to call the transport division for a ride?"
"'Transport division'?" he parroted, holding a fork full of pancakes still in the air.
"They are your team for travel needs. Cars, helicopters, planes, and so on. If you need to go somewhere, they take care of it. Or the security division could give you bodyguards."
"'Bodyguards'?"
"You are considered to be an important person, the companies of your family do have opponents, and this estate does have many valuables. All need protecting. If you need a list, the computer division could help."
"'Computers'?"
"They are associated the with the science division, but for certain reasons are separated," R. Dorothy told him like she was listing paint samples. "On the other hand, it is quite obvious as to why the domestic group isn't a direct part of them, even if they work together in some ways. After all, your chefs, stylists, housekeepers, gardeners, and repair workers only use computers, and don't work on their upkeep."
"Hmmm... right...."
"Do you have an idea of where you'd like to go first?"
"Lemme eat first, and then I'll think 'bout it," he told her, and proceeded to stuff his face before he asked any more questions that he wasn't sure that he'd want answered, while:
