"Nin nin nin," said Kaede, bringing her hands up into a quick flurry of signs. "Shadow Clone!"
Ranma leapt back and began dodging and weaving as four Kaede went after him.
The blonde Chinese girl blinked and her expression went to one of surprised delight. "Think I going like this place."
With that Ku Fei leapt into the battle and it became a three way. Or was it a six way?
Konoka and Setsuna came to the opened window to watch briefly.
"Shadow Clone!" said Ranma, splitting into two Ranmas.
Ku Fei took a strong hit, rolled and bounced along the ground, then got her feet back under her and leapt back into the scuffle.
The sound of something being sipped caused Konoka to look to the side and see that the building manager had stepped out onto his own little balcony. "Good Morning, Mister Manager."
"Good Morning," replied Oogami, watching the three warriors spar. "You might tell your companion that her top is loose."
"EEP!"
Konoka looked at the space formerly occupied by Setsuna and then shrugged. Like anyone would be paying particular attention to such things.
"Fast break!"
"Mouko Takabisha!"
"Fierce Tiger Claw!"
A sleepy-looking foreign girl came out on yet another balcony and sighed, then turned around and went back into her room.
"Wha's wall wi nuzz?" asked some clearly-not-entirely awake girl as she got out onto HER balcony.
Genma looked like a heavyset and not particularly dangerous individual. He also didn't look like he had any money, though he did have a heavy backpack.
He knew he was at a particularly interesting place when schoolboys in school uniforms leapt out of the trees. One had a pair of kama (sickles) and the other was wielding a kusari-gama.
Genma pivoted and moved, avoiding the two amateurish attacks, and using an elbow spike on the sickle-wielder as he passed. That took the faster of the two out of the fight, as Genma idly registered from the sound of the impact.
The chain-wielder landed and recovered, holding the sickle of his own weapon in one hand and twirling the weight on the end of the chain with the other.
"You really haven't practiced this much, have you?" asked Genma as he observed stance and figured out the apparent skill level from that.
"GOT YOU!" said the boy, hurling the weight end forward.
Genma grabbed the chain and began reeling in the boy, who made the classic mistake of trying to pull back and avoid going forward. He found himself sliding forward anyway as Genma continued to pull him in like a fish on a line.
As soon as the boy was nearly in range, Genma let go. His opponent briefly staggered and lost his balance, which was when Genma simply moved closer and brought one fist down atop the boy's head.
Stepping past the two unconscious boys, Genma just shook his head. Ranma ought to be around here somewhere.
"Hold it right there!" said a woman's voice.
Genma shook his head. He hoped THESE assailants would be a bit more of a workout.
