Akane Tendo was discovering that even if he was something of a coward and pig, he was also an experienced fighter.
This came as something of a shock for her as she found that she couldn't get at him. He might not have had the same sort of natural speed that his son did, but he was also quite capable of using strength and power to fight. And he wasn't afraid to use it.
Due to that, she had discovered that it was really painful to bother a man who could send a girl sailing with a punch to her gut. If that hadn't been enough, the momentum of the blow, and the run that had come before it, had left flying backwards so quickly that she crashed into a wall and left an indentation.
"And here I was hoping that you could do a little better than that," he grumbled.
To that, Akane would have agreed, but she was a bit busy trying to gasp for air right then.
It was easy to see what sort of people were watching as they started to stop to look upon seeing what was happening. The cheerleaders got excited, the scientifically inclined were looking thoughtful, and the fighters were commenting on the moves themselves. One didn't particularly have to wonder why that was, with three people all bouncing, running, and jumping about in ways that seemed to defy the laws of gravity. The spectacle was simply amazing, and for those who were only used to the fighting style of thugs, this was a welcome revelation.
Those participating weren't terribly bothered by that fact, as they had a crowd of admirers around them. Ranma rather liked the fact that he was being seen as 'cool', Kaede just kept on smiling, and Ku Fei was so excited that she couldn't help but describe her feelings... loudly.
"Excuse me, but what is this?" asked an accented voice in perfect Japanese.
"Well it's a training bout," answered one girl... right before she turned and caught sight of the bespectacled young foreigner standing before her. "He's so cute!"
What she said caught the attention of a number of girls, who also followed her lead, and looked towards where the strange boy was waiting. Yet, not one of them was mad at him, as any of that was quickly brushed aside for another reaction.
"Oh, how cute!" gushed a good number of the girls as they reached over to grab the poor kid. They all gushed over him, not in a romantic way, but in the manner of teenaged girls when faced with a fuzzy kitten or a particular sort of clothing. His yelps of dismay were only matched by the moments when he was grabbed by a new girl.
One feminine voice did come from one who kept her calm as the woman in question gave a small cough into her hand.
"Eh? What?" went one of the girls. "Miss Minamoto. What are you doing here?"
"I was showing the new English teacher around when you all decided to show that you liked him," Shizuna Minamoto replied, crossing her arms over her full breasts.
"We did?"
"Yes. The one who you are all so quickly fond of is your new teacher."
"EH?!" went all of the girls there.
"Hello, my name is Negi Springfield," the boy put in, pulling free and turning around so that he could bow to them. "It's is nice to meet you all. I hope that we will get along well...."
In a moment, everything grew quiet as the new information sunk in, while:
