Ranma saw Rei and Makoto enter the train station and walk to him with their luggage. Thankfully, they had decided to travel light. Since they were girls, he had been afraid of becoming their porter for the trip, an inconvenience for people on the run.
His danger sense flared. A look at the girls' ki signature told him the rest. He jumped, grabbed Rei, screamed "Saotome secret technique !" and ran like hell.
"Ranma ! What the hell are you doing !?"
"No time ! They got Makoto. She's one of them now..." They heard a crash behind them and the sound of running "Crap !"
Rei threw a look over his shoulder and swore. Sailodroid Jupiter, Akane, Shampoo and Ukyo were in pursuit and gaining on them. She shuddered at seeing the blank look on her former friend's face.
Ranma skidded to a halt. The trap was sprung. Nabiki and Sailodroid Uranus blocked the way. They went straight to the point "Cease resisting. It is useless. Now you have a choice : join the Queen's harem willingly or die" The robogirls slowly closed on Ranma and Rei, cutting all escape routes.
Tears came to Rei's eyes. She had sincerely liked Usagi despite their squabbling. Now she wanted her to be her slave or she would be killed. Any shreds of sympathy for Sailor Moon left in Mars' heart painfully died.
Nabiki confidently went up to them, they couldn't get away and two kisses would take care of them. She took a flask out of her pocket, Ranma guessed it was cold water inside.
The plan was foolproof. Mercury and Nabiki knew Ranma wouldn't dare harm any of his former fiancees. If he tried to run without Rei, Uranus and Jupiter would overpower him easily.
That's where they were wrong.
Ranma Saotome held one moral value above all in his heart : freedom of choice. All his life, he had been deprived of it. All who knew him thought he was indecisive because he wouldn't sort out his problems, forgetting that not choosing is a choice in itself.
Hiroshi and Daisuke had also showed him a certain american movie named Star Trek : First Contact, Usagi's Harem looked like the Borg Collective too much for Ranma's peace of mind.
Last but not least, they wanted him as a female sextoy. THAT was the last straw.
When Nabiki moved to kiss a trembling Rei, Ranma struck. A roundhouse kick loudly snapped her neck. He followed with crippling strikes and the Yamasenken's heartseeker. He knew all sorts of nasty and killing techniques from his training trip. He had learned them to better defend against them originally but this was a matter of survival.
The other robogirls froze in disbelief. Ranma Saotome had struck a girl with lethal force !? That was impossible according to their data !
"Run !" Ranma pushed Rei beyond Uranus and attacked the sailodroid to cover her escape. There was no taunting, no playing with his opponents and no mercy whatsoever. Ranma was in 'Saffron' mode and fighting full out from the start.
Still, he knew they would recover, thanks to their self-repair mechanisms. Nabiki was already stirring. He had to finish this quickly. The robogirls attacked together, just like he predicted. He smirked nastily and reached out for something more typical of the late Ryouga Hibiki. A sickly green aura appeared around the pig-tailed martial artist. The robogirls saw it too late.
"PERFECT SHI SHI HOKODAN !!!"

Rei was panting in a corner, trying to catch her breath when she heard the explosion. A few seconds later, her face lit in joy at seeing Ranma coming out of his fight reasonably intact. He took her in his arms again (it was... nice in a way) and they resumed running.
"Where will we be going ?" she asked.
