With a little shake of his head, Ataru looked up from his comic. "Whoa!" he whispered as he thought of his new memories of his meeting with Sakura. He closed his eyes for a few moments, contemplating the rest of his memories. The majority of his memories felt mostly unchanged, but here and there stood out very different events with Sakura and Oyuki.
For a moment Ataru considered just sitting back and reminiscing about his new memories. Then he shook his head and rose to his feet. "I need to make sure that this is real and not just in my head. And Sakura's house, I can go to."
Ataru looked toward the exit from the park, then frowned and looked down at the comic still on the table. He carefully slid it back into it's polybag and dropped in the mechanical pencil. "If this is real, there's no way I can risk it falling into the wrong hands." His mind briefly envisioned Mendo sitting on a throne , a chortling Onsenmark standing in front of a class of students who were literally chained to their desks, and Megane laughing like a lunatic while Lum wrapped her arms around... He shook his head violently. "No way!"
"Ok," he muttered to himself as he walked down the street. "For now I'll hide it in my desk, Lum mostly respects my privacy enough not to search out anything there. Then I'll drop by Sakura-chan's, and if this is all real..."
Ataru slowed his pace, glancing around him. One hand rose to his chin. "I wonder how much some more of the American books would cost? Owning a couple would prevent this one from standing out so much. I suppose I can skip one or two beefbowls if I absolutely have too."
