Naruto looked over the scrolls and took a deep breath as he pulled out a scroll that had what looked to be mental disciplines written down. The style was broken down into small parts that proceeded in difficulty. Naruto read through the scroll and closed it back up.
"Emptiness of mind? Mastery of all senses?" Naruto wondered, as he looked at the scroll.
He looked at the box of scrolls and rubbed the back of his neck.
"This stuff is different than what I learned at school. The Shaolin seemed determined to improve themselves and learn, rather than fight."
Naruto picked up the red belt and held it up. He opened the scroll on sense up once more and read what was on it. After doing so, he quickly put the scroll back into the box and hid the box in his room. He then took the belt and tied it around his face to cover his eyes. The belt was large enough that it not only covered the eyes, but a small part of it was able to cover the tip of Naruto's nose, blocking the ability to see down.
"Now all I have to do is master walking around while using my other senses to tell me where I'm at," Naruto muttered.
Instead of pulling pranks to get some sort of attention, Naruto studied the scrolls that a man gave him as his last act. He quickly found that he had an aptitude at learning the techniques. As the months passed, the Hokage got a bit curious about the lack of Naruto pranks and decided to pay the boy a visit.
"Naruto?" the Hokage asked, as he knocked on the boy's apartment door.
The Hokage heard a bit of shuffling going inside the room, and then the door opened.
"Hokage? What are you doing here?"
"I was wondering what you've been up to. I haven't heard of any pranks recently and was wondering if you are all right."
"I'm fine. I've been studying animals to try and learn some Taijutusu. I read that certain styles were created while studying animals. I'm right now trying to find a stork."
"The stork style? Hmm. I don't know if anyone at the academy knows that style."
"That's why I want to find a stork. I think I can recreate the style by watching a stork."
"I'll leave you to that then. Iruka has been a bit upset that you've been skipping classes."
"I don't skip Iruka's classes. I'm learning more from the animals I watch, than what I can at the academy," Naruto replied.
"I will let Iruka know of your new teachers. He might have some advice for you," the Hokage stated, as he patted Naruto on the shoulder.
"Thank you, Hokage."
The Hokage left, as Naruto thought about the Shaolin writings.
"I need a stork. If I remember right, storks are easily attacked by that type of food and all I have to do is use that and maybe something to improve the taste."
What Naruto had planned would be a prank that he had not intended to pull off. Naruto quickly got the bait and doused it with what he thought would make the smell go further. It did, but it would have an unfortunate side effect. Standing on the roof, where he set out the bait, Naruto stared in embarrassment at what he had wrought going on in Konoha.
"Um. Oops." Naruto whispered.
Sasuke Uchiha knew this was not going to be one of his better days as an enraged, drunken stork bounced off the ground and flew into his ass and started flapping its wings trying to get free.
"Someone is going to pay!"
Over a hundred enraged, drunken storks were bouncing around Konoha, being incredibly annoying. Naruto quickly went back inside his apartment and decided to hide his new knowledge. There was no way anyone would be able to prove that he had anything to do with the storks. Although, the Hokage had an idea that Naruto was behind it, but he was laughing so much that he didn't care.
