It was in the code : a martial artist's duty is to protect the weak and the defenceless. Before his 'awakening', he had paid only lip service to it. He fought primarily because he liked it or in self-defense.
Now he had a chance to make a true difference in the world, the brash egotistical bully he had been would never have gotten.
He considered the possibilities. He had to choose carefully what kind of hero he would be and the kind of message he would express.
