She remembered Ranma all right. She had been the poison child, the unwanted seed, barely tolerated by anyone. There were two exceptions - one of which was her brother Hayate. The other was the boy Lord.
"So you're a ninja too? Cool. Ya wanna spar?"
"You, you want to play with me?"
"Sure!" chirped the enthusiastic boy. "Let's be friends. Tag! You're it!"
"What? HEY! I wasn't ready!" Ayane started chasing after the laughing boy.
She was the poison child. Kasumi was the princess everyone loved. She was the one people avoided and looked at with disdain.
"Hey! Ayane! Good to see ya!"
"L-Lord Ranma! You're back?"
"Yeah! Pops has to fill out some paperwork and stuff. I got some new moves, wanna see 'em?"
"I-" Ayane found herself blushing and tried to force it down. "Yes, that would be nice."
They'd met three times. Once when Ranma was perhaps six, another time at age twelve, and again most recently just over a year previously when Ranma had just turned fifteen. Ayane remembered him all right.
She wasn't entirely sure what to make of Ranma. Alternatively he could be entirely too aggravating then switch and do something that just made her melt inside. Followed by him saying something that either revealed he was clueless or doing something aggravating again. So she felt some confusion in her heart regarding Lord Ranma Saotome of Juuban.
It was made worse when she noticed some of the other kunoichi watching Ranma last year when he was practicing some new manuevers. She, who had always aimed for a cold anger, had gotten a hot angry going.
It had taken that bout of jealousy to discover what she wanted from Ranma.
The train station hadn't changed at all. Ranma was happy with this, as it indicated that something had NOT changed in some weird manner with the Great Will.
So far he'd:
☑ removed his Jusenkyo curse.
☑ altered it so that he wouldn't be considered a pervert. Now women were perverts, men required 'romancing' to get them in the mood.
☑ altered the male/female ratio and changed it so that females had a seasonal urge.
☑ become the son/heir of the Duke of Azabu Juuban.
Considering all he'd been trying to do was fix it so that he wasn't always being accussed of being a pervert and blamed for stuff he hadn't even done - this was thoroughly wacked up as far as Ranma was concerned.
Except that as the train pulled up, Ranma noticed:
