Akane, Nabiki and Kodachi were likewise uncomfortable, but not with the fact that people were staring at them. They were used to that after their years enslaved. No, what was making them nervous was the concept that they were free. It was a growing state of discomfort that came with each decision they had to make for themselves. But, also, each decision bolstered their strength for the next one. It was rather exciting, actually, to be able to choose, again, when to eat or what to eat for themselves.
Nodoka waited in the line anxiously, clutching her and her daughters' tickets in her hand. She had adopted the girls officially as her daughters, something they jumped at the chance for, eager to get away from the family name.
She clutched the cloth-wrapped bundle anxiously, not worried about it's discovery, the katana's magic kept it from being recognized as weapon while sheathed, no matter what might happen. Rather she was watching for anybody seeking them in the airplane terminal.
She had discovered a chilling fact from Kasumi's papers. The fact that the Tendo Brothel was part of a larger organization, something like the yakuza, but foreign. The loss of Kasumi Tendo and her girls was going to be felt soon, a matter of days even if they hadn't already discovered it, and then Kasumi's partners would be hunting.
She didn't need to worry, yet, Kasumi's partners were only just organizing a search. By the time any of them hit the airport the girls were waiting at, the Saotomes were high in the air.
"Where are we going?" Ranma asked.
"To visit family, girls," Nodoka said. "We're going..."
