No, nor could it be the gaijin ramen delivery girl - who was certainly brazen enough but not duplicitous enough to manage it. Had it been that one - she would have bragged of the event.
Kodachi settled down and thanked the kami that her head was feeling especially clear and her thoughts possessed a keen edge she'd rarely felt before despite the pleasant aches still echoing through her body.
Who could it be? Someone who could be sneaky enough to manage to cover such activity, and who could maintain close contact with Ranma for the amount of time needed. Nabiki Tendo perhaps? She was certainly crafty enough, but she would have figured the mercenary girl for a more dominant role instead of training Ranma for that role.
"No. It couldn't be. Could it?" pondered Kodachi. Yet it might be so. Akane Tendo was very aggressive and violent in public, yet also had some tendencies that Kodachi thought indicative of a hidden submissive. She held Ranma's loyalty and was seen with him more than any of the others, including the redhaired harridan. She also didn't have...
"OH DEAR KAMI!!!" exclaimed Kodachi, taking a pose from the painting known as "the scream" and holding it briefly. It all made sense. Sort of.
The redhaired harridan had ALSO been trained by Akane! It suddenly made the redhead's reaction to an accidently bared bosom (or wardrobe malfunction as she'd heard it called) understandable. Akane's protests over pervertedness - Kodachi had already suspected that it was protesting too much and perhaps cover for her own wickedness. Now it all clicked together into a picture too terrible for words.
That Kodachi was projecting some of her own psyche onto Akane was understandable. People did that to others all the time after all. In this case she was likely not only barking up the wrong tree, she was in a different forest altogether. Actually fairly par for her course.
In Kodachi's mind though - it all made sense. Akane protested in public, then indulged in her wicked ways when in private. Images of whips and chains and racks and shibari floated inticingly through Kodachi's mind. How terrible, how tragic, how delightful. Errr, no scratch that last one, she was getting off track.
Her mind made up, Kodachi knew that there was only one thing to do.
