Akane stomped her way back down the stairs and to the dining table. "They're both still sleeping. I don't care if the pervert is late to class, I'm leaving." Grabbing a slice of toast from the table, Akane picked up her book bag and left the house.
Nabiki frowned from where she sat before grabbing a slice of toast for herself and also standing up. "I'm leaving too, Daddy. Have a good day." With that said, she also left. As soon as she was out the door, however, she started jogging, quickly catching up to Akane. "Alright, spill. What's going on?"
"I don't know what you're talking about, Nabiki."
"Little sister," came the reply, "Ranma being asleep never stopped you before from waking him. Something is going on. What gives?"
Akane glared at her older sister. "If you're so interested in that idiot, go find out for yourself."
"Akane," Nabiki drawled, "Don't make me bring out the photos of your eighth birthday party."
At the threat, Akane blanched, and than scowled as Nabiki smirked at her. "Fine. They weren't there. Neither Ranma or his father, or any of their stuff, was in the guest room."
"Wait, they left? Why didn't you tell us?"
Akane nodded. "Who cares," she grumbled, "I didn't want to marry that pervert anyway."
The wheels in Nabiki's head started turning. There were too many possibilities as to what this meant. The frustrating thing, however, was that there wasn't enough time to go back to the dojo, find anything out, and then get back to school. It would have to wait until classes were out.
Leaping from the rooftop, Genma came down lightly, for his size, in the Saotome front yard. He wasted no time in walking up to the front door and trying it. Upon finding the door unlocked, he let himself in, shutting and locking the door behind him. He went the first place he could think of to find his wife, the kitchen. There was a bit of luck with Genma this morning, as he found his wife sitting there drinking a cup of tea. "Nodoka," he said with a grave voice.
Lowering her teacup, Nodoka's eyes widened with surprise as she stood up. "Husband, what are you doing here? Is Ranma with you?"
Genma approached her, a glint in his beady eyes behind his glasses. "No, and he won't be for awhile." Before Nodoka could respond, Genma pulled her into the deepest, most passionate kiss he could.
Minutes passed before Genma broke the kiss. Smirking at seeing Nodoka panting, he grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder. The smirk turned into a grin as her playful shriek followed behind them as he carried her toward the bedroom.
In the Juuban district of Tokyo, morning was coming to the inhabitants of another house. Sitting in the kitchen drinking a cup of her own special tea, Setsuna raised an eyebrow as her two housemates entered. At their disheveled state, she raised a single eyebrow. "You had a long day yesterday, I take it."
Haruka grinned as she ran a hand through her short blonde hair. "Yeah, but it was worth it."
Glancing around the kitchen, Michiru began to look concerned. "Setsuna, have you seen Hotaru today?"
"Don't worry, Michiru," came the reply, "there aren't massive sections of Tokyo missing, so I sure everything is fine."
Haruka nodded as she grabbed a slice of toast. "See Michiru, I told you it was nothing to worry about. You'd have to be suicidal to attack Sailor Saturn."
"I'm just worried," the musician said. "I haven't seen her this morning, and her bed didn't look slept in."
"Hotaru always cleans up after herself," Haruka replied. "Maybe she just left for school early."
"Perhaps," Setsuna interjected, "it has something to do with the very loud noises you were making up until about 20 minutes ago?" The other two women in the room blushed bright red. "Now, you need to leave, or you're going to be late to school."
The other two outer Senshi nodded and headed for the door.
